But, as the handover to China in 1997 approached, Britain so ...

I am surprised that it took from 1842 to 1985 to establish that concept ..............

But prompted it would seem when HK would revert to China  ...........

The same as all the others places the Brits were that never needed democracy until they left  .........

Like India where hundreds of thousands perished in the set-up   ............

What the world needs is more geniuses with humility, there are so few of us left  -   Oscar Levant

Your potted history belongs to a museum of curiosities but not into a national textbook!

I know you don't like the truth. But the truth can't be changed even by hacks like you.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Besides, reality is bleak with people like yourself carryin ...

I have no problems with history. The truth is easy to deal with. Trying to revise it like you and your buddies do it the difficult part.

History does not need to be "taught"; to try to do that is similar to trying to make a road surfac ...

This comment is worth framing as one of the worst examples of a propagandist trying to justify rewriting
history to suit his own perverse purposes.

You have a tough time spreading your Maoist lies through the CD forum!

Not really. The only ones who can't see the truth are internet mercenaries like you and your
right wing buddies. People can see right through your propaganda. It's good for a laugh though.
