10 years – a measure of time that can have no meaning, unless it is lived.  On the world scale, the last ten years has seen a great many events around the world – affecting billions of people in ways great and small.  While there has been chaos, there has also been a certain level of harmony that has not been seen in the history of the human race.  It is a harmony not necessarily seen on the world scale, like a vast public work, but viewed at the level of human interaction seen at places like the China Daily BBS.  For what was truly a costly endeavor to previous generations – visual & vocal interactive communication of ideas and concepts – has become a simple matter of “plugging in and surfing the ‘net” in the last 10 years.  And with this communication, people around the world have been able to interact in ways that would seem only a dream for people only a couple of generations ago.

For me, the last ten years have bear witness to that harmony, at least in my life, for it has been about 10 years since my wife and I first began to communicate with each other.  Barriers like distance, language, culture were small in our initial communication, and fell even further away as time passed.  And while our time together has been special, it is not unique.  We are merely a part of a much greater whole that has encompassed what was traditional ways of thinking and activity – not only in P.R. China, but throughout the entire world.

Going into the next 10 years, as my wife and I raise our children, I can only dream – much like those that sit in the halls of power in Beijing, Washington D.C., and elsewhere in the world – what this level of harmony will bring for my children, and more over for all of humanity in the world.  Will it usher a better level of understanding?  Will it give time to allow humans to reach for the Moon, Mars, and beyond?  As a father, I can only hope for the best, and plan for the contiguities – much like those in the halls of power.  May our children deem our hope, and our work during the next 10 years to be worthy.

Productivity greatly improved by new technology

This post was edited by 468259058 at 2012-9-6 15:11

10 years ago, I was still crazy about flash video. Many people downloaded and watched "DongBei Ren" (Northeastern People) and other famous flash. We still killed times in the Age of Empire game, many online games, BBS of universities, QQ, Lianzhong Game. We seldom used Email for work though I began to enjoy email service from 1997. Only a limited number of families can afford the high cost of internet access. We had to visit netbars and computer rooms in schools from time to time. That time I never heard of mobile internet access.

Now, I could hardly work without computer and internet. Most of people around us have Email address and QQ numbers. Many people got information and read news reports from the internet. Many people kill times in forums. With one click on the mobile phone, we can sell and buy stocks. with one click, we can pay the air travel and hotel cost. With one click, we can transfer money among banks. With one click, we could locate where we are and know how the route to destination. With one click, we know what our friends doing. How can people communicate or contact if people don't have mobile phones?

What would happen without electricity, though I had often lived without electricity when I was a child? Oh, yesterday I read a news report, it said that we could charge our cell phone wirelessly in the next few of years.

....To be continued.

The recent past of China is well known.
In the early 1800s westerner traders discovered the world craved goods imported from China
but the Chinese weren't too keen on what the westerners had to offer in return. So the westerners
hatched a plan to sell opium to the peasants to create as many addicts as possible. They drove
further into China selling opium and spreading addiction as a means of correcting the trade imbalance.
The Chinese leaders objected in the strongest terms and were defeated with one of China's own
inventions, gun powder, that the westerners used to fashion new and improved weapons.
The westerners forged an extremely unfair treaty that basically let them subjugate China.
China, infected with opium and its close cousin, western religions, sank further into despair.
Finally China had enough and overthrew the puppet government the west had installed under the guise
of what was once the Qing dynasty. Various militant groups of Chinese fought to bring back China
to the Chinese but ultimately the great leader, Mr. Mao, prevailed. His mind had not be crippled
with western religions as had the losers. God smiled on China and in 1949 China became the great
country that it is today.
This is the simple truth and the sore losers from the west still howl to this day at their loss,
futilely spreading lies and propaganda in the hopes of undermining the noble CCP. Fortunately
the Chinese do not forget so easily and can see right through these lies from the barbarians
of the west. The whimpering from the west does provide entertainment and serves as a reminder
of the insatiable greed from western minds crippled with barbaric and preposterous religions.

I am from the west and can assure you I am not proud of our past. My mind has not been crippled
by western religions so I can see clearly the never ending resentments from those whose minds have
been crippled by these barbaric religions. The sight is never pretty. So I must warn China that
the greed from the west is both insatiable and non repentant. There is no shame in the super rich
that rule the west. They have successfully subjugated the masses with the sham of western religions.
When they cannot roust an enemy they can pit one Abrahamic religion against another to create
broader markets for their ever more efficient instruments of death. They point to all the
technological advances they have made, almost all stemming from their obsession with creating
ever more efficient instruments of death. They proudly point out how their subjects now have
pocket stereos, microwave ovens, cheap cars, and small lawns to tend to among other absurdities.
These all came at the cost of either threating to use or actually using these horrible new weapons
on both combatants and civilians in distant countries. The only crimes of these nations are often
merely disagreeing with the super-rich from the west or having been infected with religious
extremists, a terrible side effect of the west promoting these absurd religions in the first place.
As with most criminal and diseased minds, these obsessions never rest. China should always be on
guard. China cannot afford to become complacent. This is the unfortunate truth.
The west is always waiting for any chance to infect their enemies with their perverted religions
and would sell addictive drugs to the population of other nations not under their control in order
to gain an advantage. They've proven this. This is their nature.

There is good news though. As with all endeavors, unintended consequences will happen. Two of the
inventions stemming from the west's rich rulers obsession with war and violence as a means to become
even richer are the solid state computer and the internet. They no longer have control over information
and communication. This is the beginning of the end for their most wicked tools of subjugation,
propaganda and religion. It might sound counter intuitive to think that unrestricted communication
would be the end to propaganda but what is propaganda other than just telling a very biased version
of history and outright lies. The internet allows the truth to be revealed to all. This is the worst
fear of the super-rich rulers of the west. They can no longer hide their criminal obsession with
subjugating the world for their own selfish interests.
What is their most destructive and poisonous propaganda? Why religion, of course. Since the birth of
western civilization, and I use that word loosely, religion has play a key role in subjugating the masses.
It is a very simple yet vile tool. It boils down to "Your soul is wicked, give me your life and I will
save your soul". Since their claims ring hollow to a sane person their first task is to craft a sane
person into an insane person. That is, to proselytize or convert. (No wonder the Chinese government
discourages proselytizing in their country. They care for their citizen's sanity.)
How is this done? The first thing that must be done is to convince the victim that they are evil.
Right away you can see how vile religion is. How do you convince a person he or she is evil?
By convincing them that the things people naturally do are evil. While you're at it throw in things that
keep the person from being as useful as possible to the rich people who want to shake them down.
Tell them that enjoying free time is evil.. they call this sloth. Tell them they should not resent being
subjugated by the rich.. they call this envy. Tell them they should not enjoy the results of their work or
creativity.. they call this pride. Tell them they should not be greedy but the mind must be fairly clouded
by the the parasitic religion before springing this one on a victim. After all, what is the proselytizer
trying to do other than shake down the victim. It's also good to try and throw in one that would seem to
be reasonable even to a sane person.. gluttony. We want the victim to stay in good shape so they can
earn more money, all the better for us when we ask for 'donations'. And lastly, wrath. They want to
emphasize this in case people awaken from the fog that has clouded their minds and decide that vengeance
is the best course of action. The rulers want to make sure the whole congregation and the rest of the
world knows this one, in case people's minds become clear and they want to exact revenge for the attempt to
cause them permanent insanity. The insanity that is religion.

To be continued due to size limit on each post.

So the personal computer and the internet have unleashed the truth and the burden can be lifted from the
shoulders of billions of people whose minds have been tortured by the evils of western religions.
And to borrow a phrase used by countless salesman, "But wait, there's more!"
The more advanced computers now have the capability to add the last missing piece to the puzzle of socialism.
Capitalists have long bragged that their system is the only system that can reliably provide goods to the
people. This is possible through an unmanageable system powered only by greed. It is called the law of
supply and demand. The goods go to the highest bidder and if the supply is low then people are forced to
go to ever more demeaning means to get a piece of the supply. This is another prime feeding ground for
the purveyors of religion. They love to feast on the victims of unfortunate circumstance. Only the most
noble of people refuse to capitulate to these barbaric religions and choose to starve on the streets.
This is custom made to keep the rich people rich and the poor people poor. How can the rich lose?
If the supply is low they can demand ever higher prices, if the supply is abundant then the price can be
low and the shear volume of business keeps the rich people rich and in control. Greed is the perpetual
driver behind capitalism. Naturally such a system needs all the propaganda it can muster to give such a
sordid system some trappings of respectability.
The leading edge computers can now process more than enough information to keep complete tabs on supply
and demand and calculate precisely where the goods are most needed and the most efficient and equitable
way to distribute them. Today the fastest computers can do over 2 quadrillion actions per second.
In a few years this will seem slow but even at these speeds one of these computers can take 250,000
actions for every one of us 7 billion people in just one second. Approximate that one thousand actions
(of flops in technical terms) are needed to make one calculation and in minutes all the information for
supply and needs of all the people in the world could be updated in a continual basis.
Notice I said supply and need, not supply and demand. If you demand something then you are probably taking
away from another person's needs. Enjoying your life will still be up to you.

So with this abbreviated history and the challenges China still faces in the coming years I would like
to offer my opinion on what China should AVOID at all costs to insure China stays a free nation and is
always safely in the hands of the Chinese people.

- Avoid letting down your guard against the insidous cancer of western religions.  As noted above, there
is nothing spiritual about western big business religions. They have two purposes. To make money for the
church and as a tool for subjugation by western rulers. The tenents of all three big business
religions of the west, christianity islam and judaism, are preposterous. Absurd to the extreme.
China is the only great nation today that is relatively free of the mind numbing effects of western religions.
It would be wise to keep it that way.

- Avoid a falling off of technological advances that can further China's leadership role in the world
going forward. As mentioned above the power of computing is making the most difficult task of socialism,
the logistics of supply and need among billions of people, into a reality.
Do not forget the importance of continuing to develop a strong and modern military, as the USA is
constantly under attack from the right wing extremists within, there is no telling what lies ahead.
Continue as a leading producer of renewable energy and renewable energy science. Make the most of
China's vast water resources. In an uncertain world it is best to be self sustaining and a world class
irrigation system can provide this as well as keeping many people employed developing western China.
The vast expanses of western China are ideal for solar farms and even low cost, low efficiency solar
technology can be very productive with so much area to take advantage of.

And for the third thing to AVOID at all cost, which is probably the most important.
After all, it wouldn't do any good to ignore the bullhorn of propaganda spouting from western religion
and to bolster almost all perimeters with a good defense if you leave the back door wide open and unguarded.
This is probably the most dangerous of all threats to China and one the west is most feverishly working on.

- AVOID, at all costs, privatizing the banks of China. Avoid privatizing the major industries of China.
Once you have slipped up and let the foreigners infiltrate your banking system, all is lost.
The greedy super-rich of the west have never done anything in their lives except scheme on ways
to cheat people out of their money. It is an addiction with them. They will never tire of trying to
slip into your banking system. For once they are in it is like a cancer. Any remedy tried will only
cause a short respite until they morph into an even more insidious hybrid of the disease. Even one
parasite is too many. They will suck China dry and your government will become a puppet government.
This is guaranteed if you slip up and let down your guard during one of their many and varied sweet
and innocent sounding overtures. Do not let all the hard work and sacrifice of the past 63 years
go up in smoke. Privatizing your banks, even if it is supposed to be only for Chinese citizens, will
open the door. They never rest. They will find a way in if you give even an inch on this.
The rest of the world is counting on the leadership of China going forward. Don't let the greedy
jackals bring it all down. Keep the banks entirely in the domain of the CCP.

In ending I would like to congratulate China on its unprecedented achievements in the past 63 years.
As you can see, the three recommendations were really just suggesting more of the same. Please do
not let your guard down. Socialism is the way of the future and China can continue to lead the way.

we can conquere a nation through religious expansions.
from this perspective, i partly agree with gov's policies about religion.
China suffered a lot from the late 1800s to 1900s as well as Indian American suffered caused by European invaders.
I also agree China's gov privatized banks too much.
