In my mind HongKong is a province of China with an autonomous government. It has been a British colony, but is not longer.
Life is mostly froth and bubble, but two things stand like stone. Kindness in anothers trouble, and .courage in your own. Annon.

When you ask Hong Kongers where are they from, you will get a very typical answer of “I’m from Hong Kong”.
You barely hear them say “I’m a Chinese” - Fat pig

So what's your problem Fatso?
China is the size of Europe. If you ask a European where they are from, they'll tell your "Paris", "London" or "Rome". Is that so strange a reply?
Why not ask the Hong Kongers what nationality they are the next time, you dumb porky!

They do?
I don't see the reason(s) why!
Most Hongkers' net income are lower than the average mainlanders.
They are the wealthier relations these days!

A typical Hong Konger with a monthly salary of HKD20,000 will spend HKD12,000 on rent or mortgage, another HKD500 on utility expenses. Add on the MTR & food cost, they'll probably have $50 left to deposit in their bank account!
Your Mainland migrant workers be shamed if they send home less than RMB2,000 monthly!
