"China has 97 percent of its people connected to the grid of electricity, it is quite remarkable. It has a larger highway network than the US. Just to give you a sense of the transformation happening," he told the audience comprising of people from different continents of the world.

"The best way to understand China is to keep seeing for yourself," he said. "While the image people have of China is a highly controlled environment where people were told where to live, if you look historically, Chinese people at this point probably have been the freest in history," he said.

Statements such as these support the reason why China has praised Prof Malik (the only non-Chinese) efforts in supporting China's world identity.

He says She says. There is a distinct difference to the male and female role in life as we know. Just as some men physically become women and women become men, appearance can be deceiving at first glance.
Though credited with the term SoftPower  in a book released in 1990  "Soft Power ---......" Joseph Nye, professor of Harvard University at the time made perfectly clear Soft Power is the democratic solution to communism. Which has been used through world history as a political model.
Compare Malik and Nye.
Compare China and America.
Each claims the other is misleading and rumour mongers. The end result is still the same. IF...China does not wish world domination on their terms in a hundred years or more, then why bother making an appearance of being a friendly Giant (Panda) to gather following nations?

SoftPower has been the American creed since the very beginning and before that. Educated and Rational resonses accepted. Others will be ignored. Show me why I am wrong with facts not heresay.
