to a man who is not my father but more like my father!
A special gift for Frank Finkler, a man who has never met a stranger |
in his life.
Frank, you were like a dad to me when my own father passed away. You
walked me down the aisle at my wedding, and you were always there
when I needed you. You walked with me through thick and then, smiles
I can't be at your picnic this month of May 2001, and I do so wish I
could be there to hug you and tell you how much I love you. Words
can never say how much I love you and how much I appreciate you. It
brings tears to my eyes when I think of you and Lou and all the happy
times we spent together when I was just a kid, running around with
Patti. Those were the days weren't they?
Please know that I have never forgotten you, and although I cannot be
there with you physically, I am there with you heart, soul, mind and
spirit. So, when you are at your picnic, and you feel a little buzz
nudging at your ear, that's me, giving you the biggest hug you've ever
had, saying I love you "dad".
