6. Contra Dam, Switzerland
The Contra Dam, commonly known as the Verzasca Dam, is a magnificent dam constructed in the form of arch located on the Verzasca River in Switzerland. Verzaska Valley is a green river valley, incredibly beautiful place, located near the Lago Maggiore, one of the mountain lakes between Switzerland and Italy. 7. Macau Tower, China
Macau is a world famous gambling city. Casinos do not count. Gambling and tourism, this is the livelihood of the population. Like any other Asian city with pretensions and self-esteem, Macau cannot do without one of his characters, Macau Tower, with a height of 338 m that offers views of 216 meters above the sea. Navajo Bridges are located in Marble Canyon and spread over the Colorado River. There are actually two Navajo Bridges spanning over the canyon near Lee's Ferry. The first one was built in the twenties of the 20th century and the construction of the second one was finished in 1995. The view that opens from them is truly breath-taking. The original Navajo Bridge, which is considered a significant engineering landmark, is nowadays open to visitors and tourists, and there is located interpretive centre representing the history of the bridge and the region.
