British secret agent James Bond is back. The first official shots of Daniel Craig as Double-O-Seven in the new Bond movie, "Skyfall," were released Wednesday.
The scene shows a rugged looking Craig dressed all in black and holding a gun. "Skyfall" is directed by Oscar winning British filmmaker, Sam Mendes and sees Craig return as secret agent James Bond for a third time. The film boasts an impressive cast, with Javier Bardem, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, Albert Finney and Judi Dench to name but a few.
"Skyfall" is still in production and is set for release in the UK and Ireland on October the 26th this year. It has been 50 years after the release of the first Bond film, 1962's "Dr No," which starred Sean Connery.
Craig's previous outings as James Bond were "Casino Royale" in 2006 and "Quantum of Solace" in 2008.
