Located at the corner of Nanjing East Rd and Dunhua North Rd, The Taipei Arena is the first indoor complex sports stadium in Taiwan. At the main entrance facing Nanjing East Rd is equipped with a gigantic electronic LED board; it is also known as Taipei Atrium. This gigantic electronic LED board delivers commercial and event messages, sometimes it is also used for aesthetic events, such as Taipei Biennial in 2008.

Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium; the first baseball stadium in Taipei that held major baseball games in early days, was the former host of this location. Taipei Arena was established after demolition of Taipei Municipal Baseball Stadium. Taipei Arena plays the role of holding various types of major sports events, concerts, etc. In addition, the arena features icing capabilities for ice events!

The Taipei Arena is a contribution of Taipei City Government, officially opened to publics in December, 2005. It features a total of seven stories with two underground floors and five ground floors. The arena consists of forty-eight VIP rooms, capable for fourteen to fifteen people per room. Moreover, it has a capacity of eleven thousand visitors to join in the main hall for concerts, dramas, competitions, etc. Visitors may also enjoy food and shopping services at food kiosks and shops that stationed over six thousand square meters. The outdoor plaza is also a great place for promotional events.

By Bus:
Taipei Arena is reachable by taking bus no. 33, 46, 248, 262, 266, 275, 277, 279, 282, 285, 288, 306, 307, 521, 604, 605, 622, 630, 668, 675, 711, 902, 905, 906, 909, or Dunhua Line to Nanjing Duhua stop

By Taipei MRT:
Take Taipei MRT-Wenhu Line to MRT Nanjing E. Road Station. From there, walk towards Dunhua N. Road  to Taipei Arena
