Description: 8-day Inner Pilgrimage Tour To Meli Snow Mt.

Circumambulating is a special way for Tibetan pilgrims, who believe in Tibetan Buddhism, to cultivate Buddhism. Meili Snow Mountain in Deqin County of Diqing Prefecture is one of the 8 most sacred religious mountains in Tibet Area, and is deified as the unique abode of Kawagebo, a male protector in the minds of Tibetans. Each year multitudes of pilgrims spare no efforts and travel long to conduct their Buddhist circumambulations to Holy Mountains and Lakes in Tibet. After fulfilling the circumambulation by prostrating, they believe they are much closer to the Paradise; an end of life on the pilgrimage even indicates that the soul would be delivered into the Paradise.

Therefore, a Circumambulating Route has been trodden, by those who are pious and brave, out of the hillocks, bushes, ravines and cliffs around Meili Snow Mt. This route eventually serves as a passage connecting pilgrims' dreams and paradise, and is an unforgettable trip in one’s lifetime.
