Well he has a point.

#11
what he says is pointedly pointless.

If anything, the North is an endless burden to China while the 2 Koreas play the cat and mouse game. The South is the Cat while the US is setting the trap
for the North and that since 53. Unfortunately, the cat will loose two feet as well while placing the baits, should the iron ever snap close. In other
words, crippled for life.
Slow as the US is, China is being recognized as the Asian leader, on their way-almost there to become a world leader.
All of a sudden, it's not the Nord doing the saber rattling, but the South, on instructions of the Trapper.
Just imagine, what a golden opportunity for China if Tom & Jerry get cosy with each other, after all they are the same people [just like West and East
Germans used to be before Unification of the same race].
After some teething problems, which would be expected and are well understood and tolerated by world governance; China's trade with the North would simply
explode. From a paltry  US 4 billions and close to 200 billion with the South, that's times 50.

Ohh boy, poster 6 is just trying to sell weapons.
And it's so obvious on top of it, the 38th Parallel must remain

Well do you see China taking an active role to help N. Korea?

I think unification would be the ultimate outcome of all this.

But not under a murderous Kim regime.

It is difficult to commit right now.

Reunification is a long process.US will obviousely behind his allies S.Korea.

N.Korea is a born allies to PRC.Certainly it would not leave his chance to promote under his influence.

Reunification mean N.Korean regime loss his total power to S.Korea.

China's care sustained their power for certain period.

China will be benefitted by transfer his expensive plants and sell goods within his existing clients.

If you want my opinion I would say 'stay with China".

Ok....but what does that mean for N. Koreans?

Do they have a chance to live more normally like their brothers in S. Korea?

I don't understand what staying with China will get them.

It hasn't gotten them much so far.

and that's the problem with you people, your mind is made up.
Murderous you call Korea while they shift to collective rule from a strongman dictatorship.
Makes one feel like YOU are against changes and peace.

#47  How else can you look at it?

I read a study that claimed that n. koreans have lost a couple inches of height on average due to malnutrition.

I just want something better for them.

I don't care if that means all US troops out of S. Korea and we lose all any influence there.

I don't see prosperity under the kim dictatorship.

If anything happens as we dicuz mind that Kim regimes power will be discarded slowly.Even a sudden unification may not gurantee that the border between two Koreas will be lifted overnight. The peoples in N.K are not aware much about outside world.Otherwise the part of N.K will be vacant and flood occured in seoul.
