Today I read an article from WSJ website, saying China is facing a bigger depression now than EU or US faces. The signs include the recent nosedive in the Shanghai composite index, the PMI benchmark under 50, hot money pulling out of China and so on. Do you think China comes to its turning point or not? or do you think China will performe as the Japan did 20 years ago?

China is well overdue.

Personally, I hope China cn find a way through, as the government of my country has removed all our defences, in the case that China fails.

Logically, China faces an extreme realestate meltdown.

Dear Kangaroo, I DON'T THINK SO. China indeed has its big trouble but not as big as EU or US, not mention Australia which depends on China heavily. If you think China is overdue then you should take care, won't you?

don't take it personally

please understand, I want China to do well

my wellbeing depends on it

however, china's realestate boom will bust badly unless major changes are made

and if China's realestate boom ends, then China does not need so much iron ore and coking coal (our two biggest exports)

and if this happens, less Chinese will come to Australia for "education" (i.e. immigration)

education is our third biggest "export"

I want China to succeed

But China is like a rubber ball, fast bounces!
