There are always some "fairy tales"in media that are made up according to people's stereotypes or unrealistic hopes. Unrealstic hopes are often reflected in entertainment news: A handsome boy and a beautiful girl fall in love and they just love each other so much...blablabla...and got married and have a cute baby...While stereotypes occur in hard news.
For example, in 1994, a big fire broke out in Karamay, Xinjiang. Then a piece of news came out that someone ordered that " Students stay where they are! Let the leaders leave first!" Of course, it aroused a lot of anger among public. But afterwards, it is proven to be a false news. If we use some logic, it is easy to find the loopholes in the story. When the fire sudden broke out, everyone must have tried every possible means to save themselves, who cared orders, or even who would have the idea of protecting the leaders first? But the public just believe such kind of thing can happen.

Nowadays, more and more shocking news pops out, but how much of them is real? Or let's ask, how many such kind of stories purposefully leave out the logical train in the middle and just present the head, and a false and shocking tail? I think we'd be more calm when reading news...

A sad thing happened in the US about a decade ago. The reality TV show.
The sad part is that many, many people actually think of this stuff as reality.

It started out innocently enough as a bunch of yahoos out in some jungle trying
to survive by eating grubs and roots while the camera and production crew ate
ham sandwiches 10 feet away; out of camera shot of course.
Then came the endless shows of trailer trash drunks fighting over who has
the remote or why the cops are at the door. At least these were a little more
firmly planted in reality.

So what's your choice? Misinformation or extremely bad taste?
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?
