In view of what is happening in the South China Sea where many islands historically already belonging to China have been illegally occupied or claimed by those countries whose only logic of claim is that these islands are near to their land, we ordinary Chinese have to be very vigilant when we buy any houses inside their countries or even in other countries.   We have to make sure the neighboring houses are not owned by the native nationals of these few countries otherwise it is very likely that they may claim ownership of your houses through illegal occupation if they are left vacant for quite some time.  They will even try to gather other native nationals having such shameful claims to unit together to safeguard their robbed properties.  If the case happens inside their countries and you bring these matters to their court, you will lose the case as their courts of laws may even approve such a claim and come out with a verdict that their claims are justified. This kind of outrageous practices can only happen in countries where their people’s normal mentality and the right sense of judgment are greatly in doubt.   Surely we cannot use normal mentality to deal with people having abnormal mentality.  You can never make them understand.  They will talk nonsense to you and yet feel sensationally great and thrilled.   When you use force to take back your property, they will yell and protest and make wild accusations to people or organization who may only sympathize with them but cannot do anything to help them.
