Censoring system of China's government were filtering most of information in the past few months.

Let us look for information about He Dian Zhan (the Chinese character of nuclear power station) via search engine

Let us read the lastest news in english language in Chinese website

China's operating nuclear reactors pass inspections

China's nuclear safety regulators said that the country's all operating nuclear reactors are safe and sound, following a two-month inspection after the disaster at Japan's earthquake-stricken Fukushima Daiich nuclear power plant in March.

Li Ganjie, Vice Minister of Environment and director of China's Nuclear Energy Safety Administration, said in a statement posted on the ministry's website Wednesday that inspections of all 13 working reactors have been completed, and found no problems.

The State Council, China's highest governing body, ordered the administration to implement a full check-up of China's nuclear reactors and suspended approving new reactors, in a precaution measure to ensure nuclear safety after Japan's nuclear disaster.

Li said in his statement that inspections of the other 28 reactors that are now under construction would be completed by October.

The country originally plans to have up to 100 reactors in operation by 2020, but Beijing has suspended issuing permits for new plants until a national nuclear safety regime is phased in.

Many experts and officials in China promised that nuclear power reactor are safe in the same situation as what happened in Japan.

1. All of nuclear power reactors on construction and in plan will adopt the technology of westinghouse company.
2. the leading nuclear technology is in U.S.
3. Westinghouse company holds the leading nuclear technology of U.S.

So China adopted the leading nuclear technology of the world.

Actually most of major so called "experts" in China get their monthly salary from Central government and local governments.
(Most of major so called "writers" in China get their monthly salary from Central government through Zuoxie. (writer association))
That is to say, most of major experts in China are first as a government employee, and 2ndly as an expert.

These experts and officials try to ignore an important information - the westinghouse company owned by a Japanese company.

That is to say,
All of Chinese major nuclear power reactors on construction and in plan will buy technology from a Japanese company.

After Japanese nuclear power reactor emergency happened, China have ever been in salt panic.

What should we do after a nuclear power reactor emergency happened in China?

Most of us know a little about how to do in an Earthquake emergency.
But few of us know how to protect ourselves in a nuclear power reactor emergency.
for example what to eat?   salt? ...

The question is impossible to answer unless we specify the circumstances very closely - but it's pretty obvious that China will by any means perform better than the soviets did - already due to the fact that technological standards and experience in this field advance tremendously.

In Japan, you had the problem that most of the infrastructure was destroyed by the earth quake, so you couldn't cool your reactors fast enough. If you had a reactor in, say, wenchuan, it would have taken China even longer to reach it with the right equipment - but if you just have a reactor accident somewhere in, say, Wuhan and no earthquake or so, I'm sure China will do a better job than Japan. You just plug new water to the reactor and thereby cool it.

Another important fact to consider is that China is building now much newer reactors like the EPR (European Pressurized Water Reactor), which are much saver in a case of a nuclear meltdown as they feature core catchers and more advanced and redundant cooling systems.
So even if the same thing that happend in Fukushima would happen to a a EPR power plant, there would be no nuclear disaster.
