Even Wagyu beef don't cost that much.

Good marbled beef are great tasting in STEAKS.
Pasture fed beef, are TOUGH to eat.

But we can adjust it BY (1) tenderizers in grilled skewer preparation, (sate), (2) beef ball, (3) sausage, (4) thin slicing in hot pot meals.......etc.

so cheaper cuts of beef can be popularized!

Australian beef is excellent, no doubt. It's high quality beef is exported to countries where quality is cherished.

The image looks a bit like Matsuzaka beef except for the fatty rims.

Btw, if it's really Aussie beef it's much cheaper than the amount mentioned by you. It it's Matsuzaka beef it's much more expensive than the 338,- USD/kg.
