China spends too little for military R&D, especially compared with the US, even though it has severe budget deficit.

I wonder if the government will increase spending to catch up with US spending.

Perhaps, China should spend not less than 3% to 5% of GDP for the military

If the J-20 plane will cost probably 50% to 70% of a F-22, China will be able to outnumber the US in the air.
