Sorry, Dragon. But, I'm still of the school that "we won't" go into stealth big time. I mean why invest in huge sums of inventories of any such overly costly systems if indeed stealth is now or definitely will be in the near/distant future become a breachable science? It just don't make any economical sense whatsoever to any major military to have its budget tied up in any such costly ineffective (providing it is detectable) systems.
Yes, we are fiddling with the next generation fighters and flight test have possibly indeed been carried out on a number of such systems because there are things that we just can't BS about especially if it's coming direct from the horse's mouth (Chinese Airforce General) and this something we can't BS about is the words of honor of a top notch military General.
The [artist's conceptions] of what are the JXX's we are working on and that we see in the Internet might not in fact be far fetched but rather more a the Chinese aeronautic community's depiction of what their works of art might/will look as the Real McCoy. I mean hell, we are not talking about Dick Tracy or Batman and Robin snowmobiles here... we are talking about a Chinese weapon system and not the stuffs of science fiction. Chinese General are not known for making up BS's.
We see similar artist's depictions of exactly just such American systems published in the like of Scientific America, Mechanic Illustrated, Airforces Monthly, and more way before these system were ever authenticated by the American Defense department. So why is it so much more different for projects the Chinese are working on?
Unlike the Indian-Ruskie T-50 which Indian sources had suggested will not enter Indian Airforce service until 2018 time frame, Chinese on the other hand doses things much differently. Like the j-10, the 093/094, the ASAT/ABM, and like the DF-21A sure kill carrier killer, you won't see it until its good and ready to be seen and once you've seen it, it's probably a done deal at the ready to be rolled out of the assembly plant.
Yes, "believe" is the word to have faith in here.
