The VOA

The VOA cannot broadcast in the U.S. because the lies it tells are so bad, it'd be laughed out of existence by even the propaganda drenched Yanks.

The CIA is not allowed to pursue a lot of things.  Hasn't stopped them from selling drugs or murdering people in America yet.

... are available for sale in America, when they are banned in China.

Well, this argument is weak. France, Germany, Russia, Czech Republic, you name them, are all exporting fire arms abroad but do not allow them for their own citizens. Chinese fire arms are available in America because there is a demand. Could it be that they're much cheaper than domestic weapons?

Satsu,

No. Actually, the reason is that the Chinese make AK-47 and SKS variants for which there is a demand and, to my knowledge, no American company licensed to produce.

Yes, but still it is an export item because of demand.. Without demand there wouldn't be any export.

The AK-47 is an evergreen. 65 plus years old and still going strong, not bad. Amazing.

Satsu,

I'm not disagreeing with demand, I'm saying that price isn't the factor in sourcing it from China. The AK-47 is a fine weapon; ever shot one?

Well, more accurately, that price isn't a factor that leads to importing it. Price is a factor in importing from China as opposed to other license holders.

Here comes that limp and flaccid argument about Chinese made rifles getting into the hands of Americans . The first question should be : what happened to YOUR customs and coast guard services ? Not finger point at the Chinese. The world is full of black markets , from arms to opium . This silly and frankly juvenile blame game ( on China but not on British , French and German arms ) is so..ooooo..... sickening . It shows the hollowness of the finger pointers.
