Recently CCTV News have reported the tight situation of rural workers in cities.

Rural workers do the basic manual work in manufaturing companies or construction enterprise,etc.. It is them who make much contribution to  the prosperity and the variety of urban areas while lead a very poor life.
They usually rush into cities lead by hometowns with an oral contract with employers, which triggers many tragedies, including salary in arrears, uncured injuries caused by overtime work and poor working cindition and so on.  They are struggling for life and rights. It is sad that many of them have no sense of law protection.

How  we and government to help them? Please air you view here. Thank you.

brainwork vs bodywork

what a pity the rural workers work hard but receive little.
they live a hard life.does this means bodywork is cheaper
than brainwork?
why brainwork worth more than bodywork ?i think it is because
the brainwork create more.a creative idea can make much
profit.
but we can't ignore the contribution the rural workers make to
our society.without them we can't have a convinent room to live in.
without them we can't drive happily on road.we should pay our
attention to them.

We couldn't complain why they hadn't asked for the law protection.

It's necessary to build up the public law protection system. Maybe the workers have known how to protect themselves but they can't pay for the bill for the lawyer. The gov. should do the job I think. It's her duty.
They have contributed a lot to the nation. They need urgent help.

There is a solution.

China's constitution guarantees its people 'freedom of association".

If this was truly allowable then the rural workers could form a "Union of Rural Workers" that could stand up for the collective and individual rights of the workers against corrupt employers and officials.

The other problem of unsafe working conditions can also be solved quite easily by creating an independent Statutory Body with the responsibility to make rules and regulations AND to enforce them.
