(Xinhua) -- Over 6,000 new traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinics were registered in 2019 as China aims to improve medical services, according to the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

TCM services were available at 74 percent of townships or community health centers across China, said Yu Wenming, head of the administration, adding that the country had initiated a program to control cancer with the combination of TCM and Western medicine treatment.

The administration plans to promote TCM rehabilitation therapy and Internet-based TCM service in 2020.

Sharpen the power of TCM by creating a national database of big data diagnoses. The use of computing power as supplementary enhancement can only be done in China, home and platform of TCM. Then expand overseas to Africa, Indonesia and India where there are other rich biodiverse herbologies.

The most immediate problems facing the Chinese Medical System is The Unequal Distribution of Medical Resourses!!!!!!     Nice and new LOCAL hospitals are being built and yet people would rather queue for days to go to BIG hospitals locates ONLY in big cities....... WHICH significantly results in LOW Efficiency of medical system!!! :Q

Heard more than twenty years ago under a staircase during breaktime of an IT conference, "telemedicine doesn't work".

But that was then. The advent of 5G today should usher a new era of fast-speed real-time connectivity by which telemedicine in new but smaller hospitals in less urban areas can connect to all the expertise located in the urban big hospitals as if the specialists in the latter are virtually in the former.
Then patients won't have to travel far to get the same level of treatment care while new doctors in the smaller hospitals will also benefit from the virtual demonstrations of new techniques developed in the big hospitals concurrent with predelivery or fast delivery (using drones, perhaps) of the necessary medication, and equipment.

Soon word will get around that the new smaller hospitals are just as good and confidence in them will become a norm.

At the same time, such a system of distributing can be packaged and introduced to medical services agencies in other countries. So long as they use Huawei, ZTE, etc!

China has a very rich repertoire of expertise in the treatment of modern ailments like cancer. Globalising that expertise packaged using her technologies can help patients throughout the world who cannot travel to her hospitals. And heal not just the sick but also reunite the world again.
