Four employees of Haier Group were allegedly fired for taking a nap during lunch break, which sparked heated discussions on Weibo. In the afternoon of September 6, Haier Group issued a note saying that the four employees did not take a nap during break time, but slept in public reception area during working hours. Haier said that the above acts violate Haier's employees' code of conduct and their contracts should be terminated according to the regulations.

This issue has aroused wide concern because it has struck the chords with a mojority of workers. For those in large companies, espcially in industries such as finance and Internet,  working overtime until early morning is commonplace. The difference is that some people work overtime with overtime pay, while a large number of them do not. Is it reasonable to fire the workers who take a snap?

Employees could fall sick suddenly!
Same with the employer!
Find out and not simply fire!
This is STUPIDITY under the sun!
