I thought our Jiaolong submersibles got hold of the F-35 wreckage.  No?

The plane crashes without the seasoned flier being able to send out a SOS signal.

Joke of a plane on par with the Boeing 737 Max 8 at best.

We should urge Japan to buy or build more F-35s.

That's why they suddenly sent a squadron of F-35s to the Middle East for the first time -- to show the rest of the world that the plane is okay.

Sort of like whistling in the dark to show he is not afraid of ghosts.

There has been a lot of discussion about the J-20.

China hasn’t demonstrated that it has the requisite engine technology necessary to power an air superiority fighter of that size. The People’s Republic hasn’t perfected its indigenous WS-10, let alone come close to finishing development of the next-generation WS-15. In fact, China hasn’t demonstrated it can build any reliable jet engine—and that’s including designs that it stole from Russia.
