You gotta admit, the US has done at least the same
(if not more)

These were foreign nationals caught on the battlefield with the US. Not citizens that's their only crime was posting things they didn't like about their government or didn't pay their taxes.

re:  "These were foreign nationals"

Hmm;
  Eligible recruits are required to have legal status in the U.S., such as a student visa, before enlisting. More than 5,000 immigrants were recruited into the program in 2016, and an estimated 10,000 are currently serving.
  Non-U.S. citizens have served in the military since the Revolutionary War, when Continental soldiers included Irish, French and Germans. The U.S. recruited Filipino nationals to serve in the Navy in the 1940s, and worked to enlist Eastern Europeans in the military over the next decade, according to the Defense Department.

Philipino Navy frigate is stranded on a shoal on the disputed

The BRP Gregorio del Pilar, a 3,250-tonne Hamilton-class cutter that the Philippine Navy acquired from the US Coast Guard in 2011 is the Philippines’ largest naval ship and has been stranded on Half Moon Shoal, on the eastern edge of the disputed Spratly Islands, since Wednesday evening.

The propellers were damaged when the ship was “grounded from bow to midship”.

China is discussing with the Philippine side how we can provide assistance...

Chinese coastguard vessels are already at the shoal, while a search-and-rescue ship, Nan Hai Jiu 115, is also on standby in nearby waters...

What is the US doing in Afghanistan?
Is there really a threat to Americans from them?
The US is putting brave soldiers in harms way.

Your saying China goes into other countries to abduct their own.
While America goes into other countries to abduct anyone they want.
China is NOT in any country waging war.
While America.....
it is a habit.
