What a coincidence. On November 5, 2008, the day after Obama won the presidential election, the winning Lotto 3 number in Illinois was "666". And now on February 2, 2018, 3 days after Trump's first SOTU speech, the Dow dropped "666" points. If winning numbers are bad, are losing numbers therefore good, or vice versa? Or, are these just coincidences? Simply because we cannot imagine any connection between these numbers and the presidential events noted above, does not necessarily prove them to be coincidences. For one, either or both of these numbers can be manipulated by people who have the connections and the power to use these connections. If so, such coincidences are revealed as covert advertisements by special interests to try to convince us to be ready to accept whatever fate they want to dish out to us. What may be harmful about such manipulations is that they surreptitiously assign the public to the role of passive, helpless observers of predetermined events, which is paralyzes their will. The truth is that the public has very much a say in how their future is going to be shaped, and the key point is the fact that now is the time for all men and women of good will to do good, not for themselves alone, but for others as well, in short to shape their future together, and not be resigned to a future decreed by the powers that be on them. As proof of this event not meeting the standards of prophetic precision, the actual drop in the Dow was 665.75, and not really, 666.|
Trump should not forget that one of the reasons he was elected President by the people is because he promised them peace, not war, and so far, he has kept his promise, though events are overtaking him that may make him break his promise, to everyone's sorrow.
No, it is not 666, and the world is not doomed to self-destruct. There is always time to follow the inner voice of wisdom and of peace. But it takes courage, immense courage, to take the first step in the right direction.
