Some mainstream network reporter went to Beijing to sample Chinese public opinion about Trump. Others quoted an article in the Global Times that echoed the globalist smear on Trump as an "inflammatory racist". The fact is, if the people of America do not understand Trump, the Chinese people will have even less ability to do so. Most Chinese get their news from the US mainstream media, and are more likely to parrot the opinions of these news sources than Americans who have other sources of information, including second-hand information from people they know who knew Trump.
Trump promised to come down hard on China's "unfair" "undervaluation" of the Yuan, which he felt was the cause of the migration of millions of American jobs to China.
What Trump did not yet understand, because he has not yet been elected into the highest office of the land, is that American jobs were eliminated, not by China, but by the overvaluation of the US Dollar, which in turn is caused by all the heat and turmoil roiling the whole world, making the dollar the best haven for foreign capital. If there were no China to accept the dollars for labor, there would be Mexico, or Vietnam, or Brazil, or Indonesia, et cetera. China was the apparent beneficiary of the overvaluation of the US dollar, but no more. The Yuan is now overvalued by as much as 30% according to some pundits, relative to the US dollar. And what is happening to China is similar to what happened to America. Millions of jobs are disappearing and being reborn in cheap labor countries, like Vietnam and Indonesia. Now, can China say that Vietnam is the cause of the migration of jobs there? That the Vietnamese currency is undervalued with respect to the Yuan? Maybe, but the real reason is that China has been the cause of the overvaluation of its currency vis-a-vis the dollar, and thus, its products are now overpriced in the USA. Therefore, the Vietnamese products will take the place of Chinese products. Not due to what Vietnam did, but due to what China had done to herself.
Or, take the example of how Trump has been painted as a misogynist, a bully towards women, or a racist, and you know it is all propaganda, because that is exactly how these same folks tar and feather Chinese leaders through the years, especially the more successful one who are therefore "threatening" to them. Trumps successes in the GOP primaries are thus threatening to them as well. And who are these who cannot allow their security of sinecure to be threatened? Who else but the ones who dictate policy to power, or are rather, the hidden powers behind the throne?
