The actual "war" part of Iraq and Afghanistan, the US won handily and incredibly quick.  The Vietn ...

Awww... isn't that cute. Making excuses for the inability of the US to control the world any longer.
Vietnam was lost big time and nothing else since then was a fair fight either.
The supposed mightiest military in the world taking on tiny nations in the middle east and the middle
east is still a big mess.

The US can't extend itself because it knows the rest of the world hates it and would be more than
happy to chip in to its downfall. Europe is it's only real ally and the only thing they know how to do
is make pastries and coo coo clocks.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?

Are you using seneca's tricks when you don't have an answer? Calling men girls?
Or maybe that is part of your private life that really should remain private.

You're such a cutie Roberta; I could care less if the US controlled the world or not. As a pacifist, you certainly are hoping for the opposite. If indeed the world hates the US so much, then why is it the number one country in the world to immigrate to?

If historical claims had any validity then Mongolia could claim all of Asia simply because it once ...

Historical ownership is part of the picture but it has to be supported without on going claims of sovereignty. You cannot simply determine sovereignty on the basis of proximity without historical evidence.

China’s claims rely on historical fiction. Beijing often speaks of “historical rights,” yet history shows China never ruled the South China Sea. Until the 1930s the Chinese government didn’t have maps of the Spratly archipelago, let alone control of the territory. After France occupied several of the Spratlys in 1930, it took Beijing three years just to notice—at which point China’s consul in nearby Manila had to ask U.S. diplomats for a map. The first country to object to France’s move was Japan, not China.

People immigrate to different countries all the time for different reasons.
The people that immigrate to the US are people attracted to the legalized scams fostered by its feudalistic system.
Gangster movies are so popular in the US because they celebrate taking advantage of people using force
up to and including murder.
The ruling elite in the US are nothing more than the pinnacle of organized crime.
You are just one of the many unwitting songbirds chirping the praise of feudalism US style.
This is where the US derives its strength, through deception and thuggery.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?
