Time to abolish the Shibboleth that speaks English tyranny to the Chinese people's sovereignty.  Send them all to Britain.  These foreign puppets have just violated the Basic Law of Hong Kong SAR that considers sedition and subversion crimes against the state.  A Legco that cannot fulfill the Basic Law of HK SAR has no leg to stand on, is unlawful, and therefore deserves to be abolished and replaced.  The constitution of the PRC is above the Legco, which is just a group of men, thus subject to China's constitution.

Leung Chun-ying must pass HK's anti-subversive laws as required by the Basic Laws asap.

The pro-Ang ...

It is clear that the Legco has been subverted to act against the sovereignty of the China they are required by the Basic Law to support and protect.  Such a Legco is illegal under the Basic Law, and is incompatible with it.  But, the result is that they have voted to let Beijing select their HKSAR CEO without any local input, which in effect cuts off their own legs.  China is willing to suffer the continuation of a bunch of fools and subversives, so long as they continue to amputate their own limbs "in protest".  But once they resort to anarchy, violence or lese majeste, they may be loaded on the next boat headed for their fatherland, Britain, for all times.  There they can claim to be English Free Men, if the English will allow that.  They won't have the chance of a Scotsman, for sure.

To be fair to the majority of the Legco members, the HKSAR CEO nomination bill required the super-majority vote of 2/3 of the entire Legco, and therefore, it took only a minority to defeat it, i.e., just a little over 1/3 of the Legco members.

Thus, the Legco did NOT vote to reject the nomination of the HKSAR CEO by China.  It merely was blocked by a minority, of less than 50% objectors, over and against the majority of the Legco that wanted it to pass.

These objectors might no longer qualify to be Legco members if the reason for their objection is because they do not think China has sovereignty over Hong Kong SAR, a basic tenet of the Basic Law.
