A great headline but is it actually going to make a difference?

Both my office and my appartment in China are on the 19th floor of their respective blocks, if I buy an electric car how can I charge it?

Please tell me where in Shanghai there are charging points for electric cars.

Their office is pretty close to my company warehouse and office.

As posted before, what good is an electric car in Shanghai when there is nowhere to charge them?

From your household power point of course! But wait a minute, you are not taking our car upstairs are you? So, why does it matter on which floor you live or work?
More seriously, yes they do have a problem of shortage of charging stands. It's the same problem in other cities. They plan for more cars but not for more charging points.

But I support this move though, it's environmentally friendly. They should up the petrol tax too; that will force motorists to switch to electric cars!

If I lived or worked on the ground floor I could run a cable out of the window but sadly being so high up that is not practical.

I would seriously consider an electric car if it was a viable proposition for me, sadly I do not see this changing in the foreseeable future.

Very true, many filling stations in UK have charging areas for electric vehicles.

Pay and charge
