Hunting for traitors is popular with governments in stress.

秦脍,吴三桂,李鸿章 。 。 。 Let history serve as the mirror for the present.

THE FOLKS WHO ACCUSE CHINA OF INTERVENING IN THE YUAN MARKET SHOULD BE CLEAR THAT CHINA IS INTERVENING TO REVALUE, NOT DEVALUE, THE YUAN!  THUS TRUMP MADE NO SENSE WHEN HE ACCUSED CHINA OF DEVALUING THE YUAN AGAIN.  CHINA MERELY LET THE MARKET DETERMINE THE VALUE OF YUAN, AND THE MARKET DECIDED IT IS WORTH LESS THAN THE OFFICIAL RATE, SO THE YUAN DEVALUED.

IT WAS THE PBOC THAT WAS TRYING TO STOP THE YUAN'S DEVALUATION, TO PLEASE ITS FOREIGN BACKERS, MAYBE EVEN TRUMP INCLUDED.

JUST SHOWS HOW FAR REMOVED THE PBOC IS FROM CHINA'S CORE INTEREST.
