It's interesting you bring that up. It's a $566.6 million contract to build subway trains, despite ...
Local activists are worried about abuses of Chinese human rights? Are you sure about that? What possible reason would there be for them to be concerned with Chinese people? Me thinks that locals are more worried about getting their hands on a new iphone, whether the new Star Wars movie will be better than the last one, and if their football team can with the big game in January. In that order.
Are the locals concerned with the US' human rights track record? Doubtful (thanks MSNBC, Fox). They are in the dark about that by choice.
Why do the locals spend their time on problems overseas when they have a boatload of problems at home? Why would Boston people care about human rights concerns regarding Chinese people? Are the locals so blinded by the distractions created to distract them that they prefer to fight a fight halfway around the world rather than taking care of, and fixing the huge problems going on in their own back yard?
- Guantanamo Bay
- Election fraud
- Police brutality
- Immigration debacle
- School shootings
- FEMA camps
- Posse comitatus
- No-knock warrants
- Pedophile priests
- Fast and Furious
- Overthrow of democratically elected Ukraine president and funding Ukraine neo nazis.
- Illegal presidential executive orders
Are the locals concerned with any of this? You'd think that with all of this and more going on, the local people of Boston would focus their energy and concern on the abuses suffered by their own people.
I'd like to know how many Chinese people go out of their way to voice their support for Americans who are falling into poverty by the thousands daily, have to live with a corrupt/fascist government, their personal phone calls and emails being monitored, copratocracy, credit card/identity fraud, being tormented daily by cries of "terrorist" from Washington and the mainstream media, and are beaten and shot to death by their protectors so frequently that it's no longer news.
I mean, it's not like Chinese people don't have more important things to worry about or be concerned with.
The disingenuous cry of fairness for Chinese people by the western masses, media, and polity is disingenuous at best. Anyone who doesn't see the manipulation going on deserves to be manipulated.
