From Middle Earth, Mr. Salmond, my humble salutation to you, for your heroic efforts on behalf of the Scottish people! |
You know very well that September 11, 2014 was the 717th anniversary of the Battle of Stirling Bridge (1297) where Wallace defeated the English army. In memory of that great Scottish hero, Guardian of the Scottish Kingdom, William Wallace . . . one full week after this anniversary date . . .
You should report to the Wallace Monument at Abbey Craig, north of Stirling Bridge to say your prayers before the dawn of the Great Battle of Stirling Bridge II unfolds on September 18, 2014. This will be a spiritual battle, of greater import than any physical battle ever fought on this land. One might venture to even say, the future of makind hinges on the outcome of this millennial battle. On the other side of the river to the West will be Stirling Castle, where the Scotsman hero of all ages, King Arthur and his knights of the Round Table hold court. In front and south of you will be the Stirling Bridge, where William Wallace, The Braveheart, defeated the much larger army of King Edward I.
Do not go south of Bannockburn, where Robert the Bruce defeated the English Army and avenged the defeat of Wallace at Falkirk. Best stay north of the River Forth. Never go to Falkirk, not at this momentous hour!
King Arthur, William Wallace, and Robert the Bruce - and the Force - be with you!!!
