Indeed, as the lackeys of the British empire ready their placards, that double as sticks and bats, to demonstrate their disregard for the sovereignty of the People's Republic of China in its Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and China readies its mobile phones and apps to start the process of cancelling the citizenship and residency permits of those who do, Britain should at least tell either or both sides how many of its lackeys from Hong Kong it is willing to accept as immigrants or citizens, and not leave its deluded puppets in the dark . . .

"HOW MANY? HOW MANY?  I WONDER.  BUT I REALLY DON'T WANT TO KNOW . . . "

The truth is - for all its verbiage, defense, and praise of the protesters - Britain wants less than one-tenth of one-per-cent of those marching to its bugle call and its every drum beat.

ANOTHER LOST BATTLE OF THE YELLOW SEA?

This post was edited by abramicus at 2014-9-1 01:36

SO, THE PROTESTERS AND THEIR FOREIGN BACKERS HAVE WON AND GOTTEN THEIR 2017 PUBLIC VOTE APPROVED BY THE STANDING COMMITTEE NO LESS.  CHINA'S NATIONAL PEOPLE'S CONGRESS STANDING COMMITTEE HAS BASICALLY ALLOWED THE FOREIGN POWERS HELLBENT ON TAKING OVER HONG KONG THEIR CHOICE OF THE DATE AND THE LOCATION OF THE NEXT FOREIGN-BACKED REBELLION AGAINST ITS OWN SOVEREIGNTY.  A POSTPONEMENT OF THE PRIMARIES TO ELECT A CHIEF EXECUTIVE CANDIDATE TO A LATER DATE THAN 2017 WAS CLEARLY POSSIBLE EVEN IN THE LANGUAGE OF THE PREVIOUS STANDING COMMITTEE RESOLUTION OF DECEMBER 29, 2007, WHICH MERELY PERMITTED SUCH A VOTE TO TAKE PLACE BEGINNING IN 2017, AND DID NOT BIND ITSELF TO STARTING EXACTLY ON 2017.  EVEN IF SUCH AN INTENT WAS PRESENT, THE RESOLUTION ITSELF CAN BE AMENDED, AS ALL RESOLUTIONS IN THE PAST HAVE BEEN SUBJECT TO LATER AMENDMENT BY THE NATIONAL PEOPLE'S CONGRESS DUE TO CHANGES IN CIRCUMSTANCES.  THERE IS NO LAW THAT SAYS ALL LAWS CANNOT BE AMENDED AT A LATER TIME.  IT IS VERY UNFORTUNATE, THEREFORE, THAT THE PRESENT STANDING COMMITTEE HAS VOTED TO BIND ITSELF TO A DATE THAT IT NEVER PROMISED IN 2007 AS THE YEAR THE PUBLIC VOTE ON THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE MUST TAKE PLACE, AND EVEN JUSTIFIED ITS CURRENT DECISION BASED ON A MISINTERPRETATION THAT THE RESOLUTION OF 2007 PROMISED THE VOTE MUST TAKE PLACE IN 2017.  IT MERELY SAID SUCH A VOTE MAY BE CONSIDERED BEGINNING IN 2017, AND NOT THAT SUCH A VOTE MUST TAKE PLACE IN 2017.  THE DECISION TO HOLD THE VOTE IN 2017 IS THEREFORE THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PRESENT STANDING COMMITTEE, WHICH IS THEREFORE OBLIGATED TO MAKE SURE IT DOES NOT LEAD TO CHAOS AND A BAD IMAGE FOR CHINA AS A RESULT OF ITS DECISION.

Here is a quote from the final decision of the Standing Committee:

国务院港澳事务办公室认为,尽管香港社会在行政长官普选的具体办法问题上仍存在较大分歧,但社会各界普遍希望2017年行政长官由普选产生。为此,根据2007年12月29日全国人大常委会的有关决定,可同意2017年香港特别行政区行政长官选举实行由普选产生的办法,同时需要对行政长官普选办法的核心问题作出必要规定,以利于香港社会进一步形成共识。2016年立法会产生办法可不作修改。

IS HONGKONG ANOTHER LUSHUN FORTRESS TO BE TAKEN BY LAND RATHER THAN BY SEA?

This post was edited by abramicus at 2014-9-1 02:26

NOW, THE STAGE IS SET FOR WAVE UPON WAVE OF PROTESTS FROM THE FOREIGN-BACKED ACTIVISTS TO RENEW THEIR PUBLIC OPPOSITION TO THE NOMINATION PROCESS FOR THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE BEFORE SUCH PERSONS ARE PUT ON THE BALLOT FOR THE HONG KONG VOTERS TO VOTE ON.

WHILE SUCH ACTS OF OPPOSING THE AUTHORITY OF THE CENTRAL GOVERNMENT ARE DE FACTO CRIMES OF LESE MAJESTE, AND WHEN ACCOMPANIED BY PHYSICAL OBSTRUCTION OF PUBLIC LAW AND ORDER ARE DE FACTO CRIMES OF SUBVERSION, SEDITION AND TREASON, IT CAN BE EXPECTED THAT THE HKSAR AUTHORITIES WILL REFUSE TO ACT ON THEM, ON THE EXCUSE THAT IT IS POWERLESS AND THAT SUCH ACTS ARE HARMLESS, FOR AFTER ALL, THEY, THE HANDPICKED OFFICIALS OF BEIJING, ARE ON CHINA'S SIDE.  THE LATTER IS ACTUALLY AN ASSUMPTION, WHICH THE FACTS ARE FAILING TO PROVE FROM ITS PERFORMANCE IN THE RECENT PAST, AND WILL FAIL TO PROVE IN THE COMING MONTHS.

IN THE END, THESE "HANDPICKED" OFFICIALS OF BEIJING WILL FORCE CHINA TO SEND IN ITS TROOPS, AND DESTROY WITH ITS OWN HANDS, ITS CAREFULLY CRAFTED "ONE COUNTRY, TWO SYSTEMS", WITH THE ULTIMATE AIM OF INCITING THE SEPARATION OF TAIWAN FROM CHINA.  IF CHINA'S TOP LEADERSHIP CANNOT FATHOM THE INTENTIONS OF ITS MIDDLE AND LOWER ECHELONS, THEN IT HAS FAILED TO UNDERSTAND ITSELF, AND IS IN DANGER OF LOSING TAIWAN, IN ORDER TO SAVE HONGKONG AND MACAO.

A POSTPONEMENT OF THE VOTE WAS CLEARLY IN CHINA'S NATIONAL INTEREST AND THE INTEREST OF THE CHINESE CITIZENS RESIDING IN HONG KONG.

THE CURRENT DECISION OF THE STANDING COMMITTEE TO HOLD THE VOTE IN 2017, BEFORE STRONG AND IRRESISTIBLE FOREIGN INFLUENCE IN HONG KONG POLITICS IS ELIMINATED AS REQUIRED BY ARTICLE 23, CAN ONLY BE IN THE BEST INTEREST OF THE FOREIGN-BACKED PROTESTERS, AND NOT IN CHINA'S NATIONAL INTEREST OR IN THE INTEREST OF THE 7 MILLION CHINESE HONGKONG RESIDENTS WHOSE ECONOMY AND LIVELIHOOD ARE LIKELY TO SUFFER FROM THE POLITICAL AND SOCIAL TURMOIL ABOUT TO DESCEND ON THEIR CITY.

TIME TO CANCEL THE CITIZENHIP AND RESIDENCY PERMITS OF THE FOREIGN LACKEYS WHO REJECT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE PEOPLE'S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN HONG KONG.

The foreign-backed opposition does not find it self-contradictory to claim being pro-democracy (listening to the wishes of the Hong Kong people) and being foreign-backed (kowtowing in secret to the wishes of the foreign powers that support them).  The reason they never realized the giveaway self-contradicition is because they never took "democracy" seriously to begin wIth.  It was never intended by them for Hong Kong to be ruled by the Chinese citizens in Hong Kong, but rather by the British through their lackeys in Hong Kong.

And, they never clamored nor protested to have the British Viceroy of Hong Kong elected by "universal suffrage" down to the last day of British dictatorship in Hong Kong, but right after the turnover of Hong Kong sovereignty to China, they suddenly learned of their rights and needs to have a democracy.  China must have truly inspired them, but since they deny that, then the opposite must be the case, that Britain inspired them to oppose China in the name of an ideology it did not respect for the 150 years of its dictatorship over the Chinese citizens living in Hong Kong.

How would Britain regard the protesters before the turnover if they physically opposed the enforcement of public law and order in Hong Kong?  No second thought, they would have been treated as seditionists and subversionists.  Thus, China must do to defend the rights of their fellow Chinese citizens in Hong Kong, who are being challenged as to their rights by these foreign lackeys to be in Hong Kong if they remain Chinese citizens.

And the medicine the foreign lackeys want to force the Chinese citizens in Hong Kong to swallow is the same medicine they must take themselves - their citizenship and residency permits must be reviewed, and if they do not accept the authority of the issuing agency, i.e., the soveriegnty of the People's Republic of China in Hong Kong, then these documents must be deemed invalid and void, immediately.

The pain of seeing hundreds of thousands of British lackeys sailing for their British homeland is nothing compared to the pain of seeing the same hundreds of thousands of British lackeys stripping the rest of the millions of Chinese citizens in Hong Kong of their right to be protected, and their properties safeguarded, by their sovereign government of the People's Republic of China.

A choice has to be made, by the foreign lackeys, once and for all, as to whether they want to obey the constitution of the People's Republic of China and remain Chinese citizens and residents of Hong Kong, or they reject the constitution of the People's Republic of China, and therefore, are no longer its citizens or its privileged residents of the Hong Kong that is currently and unquestionably a part of China.
