It is quite common to see young people offering their seats in public vehicles to senior citizens. But that does not mean that the elderly should force young people to offer their seats to them, says an article in Guangming Daily. Excerpts:
News reports say an elderly woman boarded a bus in Beijing with her teenage grandson recently and asked a girl to vacate her seat so that she could sit. When the girl refused to do so, the elderly woman started screaming that the girl had no manners.
Should young people offer their seats to the elderly?

Very good topic, offering seats to the elderly relate to social morality, but the elderly use the valuable morality to get what they want is a very very bad. Just like people gets trouble after help who needs help. So many behave alike this old woman is the reason why the social morality in China is collapsed. Some departments of government have the obligation correcting this bad trend by raising people help others and punish people alike this old woman!

How does that pathetic question even cross ones mind. To me all seats are priorityt seats when it comes to the elderly, pregnant, or physically disabled persons. RESPECT!!!
I am me and that is something you will never be, no matter how hard you try!!

Every time I offer my seat to an elderly person I am met with disdain and suspicion.
Someone told me it's because the bus never has more than 3 or 4 other people on board.
If capitalism promotes innovation and creativity then why aren't scientists and artists the richest people in a capitalist nation?
