Japan will soon be passing amendments to its non-military involvement overseas, which includes China, Taiwan, and Korea, as well as the South China Sea.

Apart from political rhetoric, is China able to defend itself from Japanese incursions and invasions of its islands, directly or by proxy of other countries?

The answer, despite all the propaganda about the dangers of the "China Threat", is that China is probably unprepared to defend its own territory, on land or in the sea, or over its airspace, against renwed Japanese aggression.  It is only a matter of time before some Chinese soliders will be killed in a replay of the Manchurian (Mukden) Incident, and the Chinese populace thereat be subjected to the same humiliating treatment as their forefathers, and their women as Comfort Women to the Japanese conquerors.

Is Chna ready?
