I have always considered him as the most brilliant of the young artists in the city. And this time, theopening of Shentian Art Gallery on Nov. 17th has proved it. Mr. Fang Xiaofeng, also known as FangYiming（方译民），is a multi-disciplinary artist whose practice includes prints, oil painting, Interior design, Calligraphy and traditional Chinese painting, watercolor, or acrylics, sometimes, mixed media as well. The inspiration that he takes from experiencing life creates a feeling that continues to inspire him in his art. Collecting good art works, showing and selling his works, teaching art students, and organizing art events. He is peculiarly a restless person.

People call him Mr. Shentian recently. One day, I made a Joke of his nickname，as I mentioned the name made him Japanese instead of a native of Yueqing City, he laughed and said he was indeed Japanese, firm and perseverance, be open to absorbing and learning western culture and art.

He truly believed life is full of mysterious, “Shentian” is a place he transfer himself. It is also the wonderland of other artists, and for that land they bid their sails search and search. Perhaps art will never be as valuable as they think, but it is eternal, it crosses all boundaries.
