China nation has a strong family concept and always have family reunion in some important days. Family Reunion Dinner is an essential custom on New Year's Eve. They usually enjoy a big feast this day. And dumpling and fish are must during the Family Reunion Dinner on New Year's Eve. Some people will put a coin inside one dumpling. The people who eat this dumpling will be to thought be a lucky guy. The fish could not be eaten out because the fish means extra things by partial tone. And it represents the wish for a prosperous year with abundant and even extra wealth and luck. The day before Chinese New Year's eve in Chinese ,we can say “小年夜”.This festival means we get close to the Spring Festival.In this day，the person who in this family must clean the house together，which means removes the bad luck.Also ，we will eat some special sugar（灶糖）and as a altar to the King of Zao，let he say the good things to The Jade Emperor.
We will eat the soup with tofu and Brassica pekinensis as the dinner.
The day before Chinese New Year’s eve is a old festival to all Chinese.We chat together and play together , all of the people who works outside have to go home. This is not a festival more than a the family party.
yeah，when a couple want to get married.they must find a master to practise divination.Sometimes,the master think they dont get married in the spring festival.There also have a reason-all of the Chinese people will go hometown,so its no restaurant open,nobody wiil join the wedding.
i have never seen anyone get married during chinese new year. does anyone know why ?
