An awkward age

An age that is between 20 and 25,should be beautiful and full of passion.Girls in this age may have a lot of dreams,which include the love,the job,the future city of residence and so on.In our dreams,everything seems to be nice.While It is not so good in reality.Today I had a video chat with my colledge friend,who had worked for more than half a year.She told me that she had been busy looking for a appropriate job and now she is tired both the body and the heart. She said:"do you know what the interviewer asked me ?Have you married?Have you had a child?"All right,the company will consider your personal problems,because these are related to all kinds of vacations.To tell the truth,I am really angry about this.The companies should be kinder to the employees,if they want to retain good telents and loyal employees.
Science I am going to face the situation to find a job,I have to be well psychologically prepared.

Find a job is not telling a fairy tale, it is really hard for job-seeker to find a ideal post in the competitive workplace nowadays. Discrimination is not  a good social phenomena, even though pursuing utmost profit is a company's starting point.

In this matter,I think it is necessary to publish the relevant law to protect our employees' privacy rights,while maybe it is a little difficult.

Yeah,yeah,in China,employers would like to hire a male much more than a female in some industries,which aggravated the employment pressure of females.As a female student graduating,I am a little annoyed.

Chinese culture seems having too much tolerance to these kinds of nosy questions. However even in the west, discrimination case is quite hard to prove in the court systems. But this kind of publicity is detrimental to all employers, settling out of court has been the usual choice.

In many Western companies, hiring practices do not allow for intrusive questions about gender, marital status, age, children. That could lead to illegal discrimination in selecting staff. China does not have these laws...yet!
