After curing my illness, I took the train K7019 from Harbin to Hegang to get back to my home at 10pm on September 19. I am still impressed with the riding in the train now, so I can't help taking down the experience of taking the train.Because I had just finished my operation, I was so weak and couldn't move freely, so I took the soft sleeper . Usually I often choose hard sleepers because they are economical and practical.
Beyond my imagination, as soon as I got on the train and found my place, a bad smell blew against my face, I really hated that smell and I was not willing to breath. It was a musty smell with damp and smelly feeling. In order to breath fresh air, I have some difficulty lifing one of the train windows to let fresh air come in, for I had not recovered completely. When I tried to lift the other window to let air run through the carriage, I couldn't make it due to my sick body.Waiting for the other three man to get in, two of them together put effort into opening the window. At last , fresh air was blowing though the carriage, how comfortable!
But the situation couldn't last long and just for a few minutes, because it was so late and passengers all needed to sleep. So the windows were closed long before. The musty smell still spread over the carriage. I couldn't stand the smell and just sat in the hallway though it was so late, and only I sat there alone, so the train assistant was surprised and asked me why not sleep? I told the truth, and he just gave me a smile helplessly.
I used to think it was more comfortable to take a soft sleeper than a hard sleeper, so I chose it because of my sick body this time. On the contrary, I felt more uncomfortable though I spent about 50yuan more on the ticket. Since passengers spent more money , then they should get better service, but we got worse service in fact.
So I appeal for the railway department to create a better environment for your passengers and let them have a good mood when traveling. If not so, I would rather take a hard sleeper than choose a soft one.
