A trip in Agrigento

Last year, I got a very precious opportunity to teach in Italy. During the Chrismas vacation, I travelled the Sicily Island with my friends.
Agrigento is a city on the southern coast of Sicily, Italy, and capital of the province of Agrigento.It is renowned as the site of the ancient Greek city of Akragas (also known as Acragas in Greek, Agrigentum in Latin and Kirkent or Jirjent in Arabic), one of the leading cities of Manga Gracia during the golden age of Ancient Greece.
Although I have been to this ancient place, I only known a little about this city. My eyes were always attracted by the amazing scenery and I did not have time to remember all these historical stories!
