What do you think Chinese tourists in your countries?
Have you ever encountered Chinese tourists who did not behave properly in your countries? Can you give some examples and some suggestions for them? Do you think Chinese travelers are being more and more aware of their manners? Are they getting better?

i hope to see more and more mainland chinese tourists in America.. there arent really any now..
i think it would improve the overall view of americans towards chinese people as mainland chinese with money to travel and who live a liesurely lifestyle dont fit the sterotypical ideas alot of americans have, it can only be ood for China.. though Im sure the lack of communication and culture shock and general superiority westerners feel would be the cause of many arguments and fights, and bad feelings..
there are 20billion japanese tourist to hawaii every year
probably the reason Hawaii now wants to legalize prostitution,
probably at the request of japanese tourists.. all they want is to degrade women for sex
I hope Chinese would behave better than the Japanese torists

Chinese visit Taiwan
Many tourists seem to understand how to respect the laws of other countries but some still don't get it.
1. Respect no smoking areas
2. Respect no eating or drinking areas. Trains etc.
3. Speak quietly on your phone especially in public. No onne else wants to hear your conversation.
4. Don't littler or spit in public.
These are a few of the ones I've noticed.

All Asian tourists who come to my town have always acted with the best manners and have always been proper and well mannered.
I always offer to help them if they need anything and welcome them to our little town. (In my very bad Chinese) On some occaisions they have needed a little help.

If you want to get technical about it, students and workers are toursits too. From what I have seen in Detroit and Chicago - so far, so good.

Shortly after Hong Kong Disneyland opened, the local media showed some pictures of people littering and in one case of a kid peeing in some flowers. People immediately said "those must be mainland people". I think in HKG mainland people have this reputation for being dirty and ill-mannered.
However, in Canada I have never noticed this. But then, we don't get all that many Chinese tourists, because Canada is still not an "approved destination".

Can't Have Them Both Ways
Canada chose to have the billions from the protection trade, harboring rich criminal fugitives from China. Until that is resolved and the loot returned, Canada is not going to get major Chinese tourist dollars.
And those dollars are sure looking good these days. Texas is now welcoming Mexican tourist, can ya imagine that!
