how often do you feel guilty

I always have a guilt feeling in my heart whatever I do,which nobody can understand and imagine even when I confess it.I feel guilty for serious things but also for vwery trivial
I become clear.

I feel guilty any time  I buy clothes while there are pleople who can't affort it.
I feel guilty when I attend parties with much food which most of it is thrown away while there are people who do not have the same chances.
I feel guilty when I see my friends suffering while I am not
I feel guilty  anytime I meet ill people while I am not
I feel guilty because I am free while others are in prison
I feel guilty because I had the power to be active in life while others are weak
I feel guilty when I meet women without children while I have three
I feel guilty when I see people enemployed while I  am not
I feel guilty when I am lying in bed late in the morning while other people are getting up really early to go to their jobs
I feel guilty because my job is near my house while others commute
About trivial things now

I also feel guilty any time I eat because I should be on a diet to keep fit

I feel guilty for trivial things

I feel reall;y guilty because although I have these guilt feelings I stil continue to do the same things
My question is the following.Do you feel like me ?
Is it normal for a person to be like that?Is it because I have been brought up with so many 'must and mustn't in my life'

The situation becomes worse when I do something which I shouldn't.
Then I become a wreck.
Digging very deeply in my heart I have the sense that the origin of all these guilt feelings come from my effort to be perfect as a person in everything.I expect too much from myself while I also expect too little from the others.
At the same time I do what I want to do regardless of these guilt .
Sometimes guilt is weak while some other times it is stronger.

I think that feel sometimes actually is " worry" not guilt.
Those worries come together make me do the thing regularly.
But I think you are too worry to definate those feeling as gulity ones.
When I am the reason to let somebody else suffering, then I will feel upset or even guilty.

This is not real guilt.
Perhaps when you were a child , your parents were very strict to you. There were many things you were not allowed to do. You may have been often punished for very small things. Love yourself and enjoy your life.
I rarely feel guilty.

I agree... how can you feel guilty about everything? Some things are worth worrying about, but many on your list are not. Did you have a very strict childhood?

my parents did not punish me often but they had a lot of must and mustn't.
Perhaps ypou mean the same thing.

I feel the same with you but not to your extent.I think the origin of feeling guilty is the pure kindness from man' deep heart.Judging from what you said,you are a kindhearted woman and show your mercy to every things that you think it is not fair-and-square.You feel guilty then you ignore it that equal to you don't feel guilty to any of them,have a wonderful attitude to your life and enjoy your life.I don't think there is any thing wrong in your list you feel guilty ,you have the right to do whatever you want to,if other people can't do that as you it is the others business not yours.So take it easy to it and cheer up!!!!

You made me think deeply and I think I found the reason.
First of all I want to make something clear.I am a person who is always optimistic ,with positive thoughts about everything in life.These thoughts make me happy ,smiling.
Do not misunderstand me that I am a person who carries guilt .Not at all.
These positive thoughts plus my character ,I am a person who makes dreams and tries to make them real ,I am always in action ,I do many things.I travel a lot ,go here ,go there ,do this ,do that all the time.
I do many things that satisfy myself.I hate mysery.
But at the depth of my heart I have a slight feeling that I shouldn't.
This feeling is weaker to my desire to do things but it always exist.Let's call it concience criticism or concience control.
Now I know the reason.First it is my parents do and don't ,second some religious believes,third because
all my relatives are traditional people and not open-minded at all ,they do not dare to do the things that I am doing so I sometimes look strange in their eyes.
Most of all my mother's must and mustn't are chasing me.
