Dose "KungFu" here have anything to do with Martial Art?
Yesterday I had a great time enjoy the KungFu Tea in a teahouse in Beijing
Though it tastes bitter when it first reaches mouth, the lingering aftertaste makes me fall in love with it.
but I'm confused now that the experience of savoring tea is so peaceful, how can ppl. name it as
"KungFu" tea, does it have anything to do with Martial Art?
btw, where can i get the lovely tea set like this?

to my knowledge, kong fu here means a long time
we say: zhen dan wu kongfu
we mean: that really wastes a long time
we say: you kongfu lai wan ma?
we mean: do you have time to drop in?

A kongfu master is a top-skilled person that pracitse Martial art on a regular basis over a long period of time, usually for tens of years...! so Kongfu means: long period of time + tough laborious drill (pracitce)...!

As the Kungfu masters perfect their body and mind through years of hard practice, Kungfu tea also emphasize the elegance and precision of making tea. But, it is quite different from japanese tea art which I believe, stresses the ceremony instead of the real taste of the tea.

I've tried once and I poured all the tea onto the table, the trousers of the performer, the floor....only a few drops survived in the teacup...not too bad
