The ceremony at the White House.

I personally believe it is a disgrace for the White House Communication and Press Office to issue press I.D. without checking the background of any reporters.

First of all, I am not biased towards any countries and I remain absolutely neutral in analysis of any situation.

But the incident at the White House showed a deliberate planned incident to try to embarrass a foreign leader to visit the White House. (Is this what Bush said in his speech about FREE SPEECH, talk to Cindy Sheehan then)

I don't care if the current U.S. Administration does not grant any State visit status, State dinner to any foreign leaders to visit the White House.

It is very poor taste for the White House Information Office along with other agencies to plant such incident.

Why did I say that and do I have any proof to support my argument ?

The Washington State Organizing Committee  planed for the visit which is headed by the former Governor of Washington State (Did it matter if he was the only f Chinese-American who became the Governor of Washington State ?)

No incident occurred at Washington State. The dinner at Bill Gates home was executed flawless. Even last minute preparation to call for extra Microsoft emloyees to line up at the front gate of Bill Gates  home was a welcoming sign. The planting of extra trees at Bill Gates home also indicated the host really wanted to do a good job.

I do not care what others said in this Forum. The guests lists at Bill Gates were carefully chosen and it was a magificent dinner.

Despite the visit to Boeing was short, but it  also indicated a committment to balance trade. It was carefully planed and executed well except the showing of part of a Boeing to be delivered to the Japanese Government.

Overall, the first two days went well without any major incidents except until the arrival at the White House.

I believe it is a disgrace of any host country whether it is United States, Canada, Britain, France, Germany, Russia to allow any undocumented reporters to come so close to any foreign head and to allow such person or persons to ramble for almosts 2 1/2 minutes.

I watched with dismay that the US. Secret Service Agents did nothing, absolutely nothing to stop the person at all.

Remember, when Ronald Reagon was shot in 1981 outside the hotel, more than 10 Secret Service personels, local D.C. police jumped right in to protect Ronald Reagon. I found it is amazing the US Secret Service agents allowed any persons to speak whatever he or she wants and then "slowly" led the person away.

I am not upset and I was prepared for that and it only showed how poor taste and down low is the current Administration.

Be a sport and treat your guest fair and do not embarrass your guest who come to your House to visit whether it is the White House or not.

I am closely watching the trip to Yale Unviersity tomorrow.

Have a good day !

P.S. The local D.C. Police and State Capital Police and Secret Service Agents arrested ALL the anti-war protestors including Cindy Sheehan in front of the White House and also the "West White House" in Texas.

The local county where the West White House in Texas passed the law last summer barring any protesters or anyone to gather even for peaceful gathering. The fact is the current Administration can do just that and forbid anyone even come close to George Bush if he wants.

So there is NO FREEDOM OF SPEECH in America, not in Mississippi, not in Texas, not in Washington D.C. but there is freedom of speech "inside" the White House South Lawn.

You can freely speak in front of thousand of people and only slowly led away by the US Secret Service Agents. There were US troops, special FBI agents, Homeland Security agents and many other  law enforcement agents but to deliberately allow such incident to occur is a disgrace to the host country. Goodbye !

Despite the apology from President Bush, ..............

It is not an isolated case.

Did Bill Gates and Inc allow anyone to go to his 100 million mansion and walk up to a foreign Head of State ? No

Can any newspaper based in New York, New York with a long history of "odd ball" reporting be allowed into the White House with a temporary "day pass" ? No

Are you aware Boeing has a security system that screens employees far better than the FBI screen their agents ? Boeing employees have to sign a statement of NON-DISCLOSURE and never disclose their nature of work to anyone including their spouses.

I do not believe the White House Communication and Press Office do not know about any New York based newspaper's political agenda.

But I hope this isolated incident would not dampen any head of State visit to United States.

Americans Just Have No Manners

O.K., Americandave, the American government has no manners, and you have nothing to do with it.

It is not as bad as bombing the Chinese embassy with 1,000 lb laser guided munition and then blaming it on a bad map, but it shows the same kind of mentality.

Yes, today you are stronger, America.  But bullying come at a cost.  Nothing is free in this world.  Today, we smile and ignore the calculated insult.  Tomorrow, who knows.  Reaction or no, it is important to see the act as what it is.  It is America the bully's way of stating that it does not respect China.

Let me explain to you the conspiracy of XXXXXX/CIA !

I have met some XXXXXX in Chinatown across North America.

They normally hang around near the Chinese markets and set up booth and give out some kind of propaganda information/pamphlets to people who walk by but no one paid any attention.

Then the guy who normally loaded my computer asked me to join the  XXXXX meeting. He even gave me some pamphlets to read.

After very careful reading of the XXXXX information and the incident today at the White House South Lawn, I am convinced  my long-held suspicion that this kind of activities are supported by the C.I.A.

The CIA has planted such activities right in front of the Head of the State and the dignitaries at the White House South Lawn  to try to embarrass the Head of the State. It was approved by the senior administration and might even sign off by George Bush.

There is absolutely no way for a small newspaper well known for its political view and based in New York to obtain a temporary day pass and infiltrated into the press area and caused a minor incidence without the support and training  of the CIA.

It had all the signature of the CIA !

It was a job poorly done in bad taste by the CIA .

What did it accomplish?   Nothing !!

It only reflected the pananoid of the senior administration at the White House.

I have followed Goerge Bush very closely for 16 years way back even before he was the Governer of Texas. Yes, 16 years.

George Bush seldom made many changes in his senior staff for all his political life. He struck  by with his kind and made few changes here and there.

But suddenly one day before a Head of State come to visit, Bush was so busy making all the changes at the White House and felt it was business as usual running a high gear domestic agenda.

What kind of game is going on at the White House prior to a Head of State coming to visit ?

Also  Condi Rice, our beloved Secretary of State was so bored, she almosts fell to sleep and closed her eyes and put her head down during the press conference.

The senior staff at the WHITE HOUSE just wanted to get the day over with and went on to the unfinished business of second round of firing of senior staff ?

I am lost when I watched Bush senior staff lost all the "air" !!

accredited reporter

The Reporter noted above was an accredited reporter. I wonder, where are you? The reporter was not permitted to be seen on China TV according to CNN. CNN broadcasts in China did not carry the reporter's outburst.

Once again, the Chinese Reporter at the WH had been to the WH on many occasions. It was not new for her to be there, however, she chose to step out of her role as a reporter.

So, how did you know that the reporter was at the WH as all?

well...

I can understan such incidents always happen.  We can not control what people will behave.  But what puzzled me is that she had a banner with her...which could have been "controled"...

"Crowd Control" or "controlled"

The poster which could have been "controlled" before she entered the South Lawn.

Also there were Chinese reporters around her and tried to calm her down.

The White House official website did not show any outburst but you could hear the rumbling in the background for minutes.

ABC, CBS, FOXS, NBC all carried the outburst as well as PBS.

Because most of the reporters were around her and they just turned the camera around facing her to get a better view of what she had to say.

According to the  official chief editor of that newspaper based in New York, he made an apology and stated the newspaper had nothing to do with this.

So why is a "doctor" reporting for FuLong Terrorist Group. Are they really an exercise program, a relaxation and meditation program. I don't think so!

They are no different than any political oppositions based overseas as well as within China. They are  no different  to the Hamas  whom are identiified by the E.U., U.S.A. and Canada as a terrorist group. It is no difference Fulong  is now recognized as a terrorist group too.

She is criminally charged to harrass a foreign Head of State.

Do you believe George Bush will meet with Cindy Sheehan despite she has protested everyday outside the ranch in Texas at the West White House.

Sure Cindy Sheehan had once met with George Bush but he did not grant any more meetings with the anti-war Mom and instead chose to arrest her in front of the White House (not inside the White House).

The person should not be admitted inside the White House because she represented a newspaper which represented a terrorist group and should be barred in the western hemisphere including North America and Europe.

Do you think the White House Communciation and Press Office will issue a temporary day pass to Cindy Sheehan to go to the White House to report about the senior official visit of Iraqi Governing Council. Hell NO !!!!

They can control anyone in America and the D.C. Police , Secret Service, Capitol Police and Homeland Security Agents have "controlled" all the anti-war activits. If the anti-war activists show up in front of the White House, they will be arrested.

Please open your eyes  and go to Washington D.C. to check that out first before posting here.

I lived at Washington D.C. for years and I have seen many demonstrations in front of the White House and the Capitol.

Sheehan's T-shirt was covered with her jacket...

She removed her jacket and disclosed her T-shirt...

It was difficult for the police to detect what was written on the T-shirt since she was wearing it under the jacket.

But, it is a great surprise to me that such a big banner was brought into the South Lawn with her.  She might have wrapped the banner around her waist and escaped the security check?

Might be the case...

Aha...

I, personally, regard this as an incident.

But, it really worries me.  the USA is so strong, in terms of military and economy.  How Bush can really control this giant machine is so critical to the world piece.

This time, a poster, a protestor...then an apology...

Next time, a guy will enter the Pentagon..."press the remote control of the A-bomb"...then...another apology?

The world is so fragile...

Incidents happen. And now she's going to go to jail for half a year for it. I don't think the government could reasonably do anything else.

The White House was in the midst of a major shake-up and firing !

Just right before Presdient Hu arrived at Washing, D.C., the White House faced the most  horrible slaughter in six years with chief-of staff gone, the second press secretary resigned, and the senior advisor demoted.

And the Secretary of Defence is under attacks from six "major" generals !

The rating of President Bush was at all times low.

And the front page and CNN were actually reporting a massive arrest of over thousands of  illegal immigrants and 7 current and former managers of a factory that deliberately hired illegal aliens.

The ceremony at the White House was held in the  mid-morning and carried on in the afternoon. I have posted here and many others pointed out it is a slap in the face to invite your enemy to come to the dinner.

Would you invite a well-known Fulon Gong terrorist group suicide bomber into the White House to report the President of China's visit. Hell No.

What if she carried a bomb inside her camera, this is not acceptable.

The security at Yale University kicked out the CNN reporter

The security officials exercised their right to kick out the CNN reporter who chased down President Hu and yelled at him to ask him "Did you hear the protest ?"

The CNN reporter was immediately escorted out of the Yale University campus and warned not to return.

The CNN reporter was there to "report" and not to "embarrass" the President again second time in 24 hours.

Amen !

What else? That's US.

Honestly, US can¡¯t make herself any worse than that, it raises its ugly head yet again to the world¡¯s scrutiny. It reinforces the global view of US¡¯s barbarism, crassitude and downright stupidity.

Flotsam, that¡¯s right, this event in White House did confirm about what you have been saying all along about US and the Anglos, any other worse derogatory word to describe these scums?

Even for people who used to have grievances about China are turning round to defend China more and more, President Hu turned out to be a person a lot more elegant than I thought before. Whereas US is drowning itself like the event unfold itself in Iraq, getting worse and worse day after day, economically, militarily, culturally and even for such a basic security, US failed. If viewed from the other way, that US planned all this gaffe to achieve their stupid purpose, US still failed with additional humiliation to her own reputation with such a bad taste plot and we can see that most US media are surprisingly disappointed that the China media just ignored the event completely, most would treat it as a typical US¡¯s despicable behaviors, not really newsworthy anymore.

Funnily, that mad shouting woman was even holding the banner upside down. The behaviors from this FLG irritate me more and more, until now, I¡¯ve never seen a decent and appropriate message sent by them, it has always been an aggression and extreme irritation.

I¡¯ve talked to people from different nationalities, no one really seems surprised at this sort of US behavior, it just helps to confirm what most have in mind about the US.

FLG Sick Sect

Talking about this FLG sect, it really annoyed me to the extreme that I almost had to bark at them to get lost when I was in Geneva few years back. I was not familiar with their agenda and what on earth they did about the meditation. While I was approached by these nuts along the Geneva Lake, out of curiosity, I asked what they did in this organization, they just passed me a chaff of leaflets and said ¡°Join us, please join, no charge¡±. I didn¡¯t like that response, so I walked away and dumped the chaff in the bin because there was nothing concrete about the meditation, more on the formation of FLG, she followed me and passed me more rubbish, I said to her No, and she continued to follow, I almost yelled to her ¡®Stop, if not, I¡¯d call for police¡¯. She went off, but only to harass another passerby.

Another occasion was in Taipei, we didn¡¯t see many Caucasians in this city, one day, we saw just that very one in the subway, to hell he approached us via whisper if we were interested in health exercises, he was in baggy jeans, unshaved, with long pony tail and an American accent, my friend tried to be funny to ask if that was for massage, he said sneakily ¡°No, just some ¡®healthy¡¯ breathing exercises, no charge¡±, I asked for more information, he told us to follow him, when he turned around, we saw back of his shoes were written with Falun Gong.

Few years ago when I was in Singapore, we saw a group of yelling people positioned themselves on the exit of a subway, the police was trying to tell them to leave, not because they came from the FLG, for their nuisance in forming a group seated in the passenger¡¯s way on the exit of a busy subway, some were yelling, some were seated with eyes closing ¡®doing a meditation¡¯, I wasn¡¯t aware that they were a group of FLG, was annoyed at their absurdity in yelling for resistance to leave that public place, and their ridiculous so-called ¡®meditation¡¯ in such a busy traffic to subway passengers, everyone knows meditation should be done under a calm & quiet atmosphere. Then my eyes caught the word FLG on the leaflets placed in front of their folded legs but was puzzled as to why would any nut sit here for meditation, now I see, their attention in touting members.

When I was in London Chinatown this year during the Chinese New Year, I saw a group gathering there in distributing newspapers, I went up to ask one of them if they knew there¡¯d be some festival celebration or parade for the Spring Festival since they were all Chinese( or perhaps Taiwanese), thought they should have known something, but one by one replied in icy tone that ¡°Don¡¯t know¡±, one said ¡° We¡¯re not here for Spring Festival¡±, and started to put several newspapers in my hands, telling me that they were free, some were outdated copies, they seemed more interested to pass the papers to the Caucasians, the papers were Epoch Times. Thought I could perhaps find some calendar for the festivals but was in for a rude surprise for the content, the whole paper was filled with propaganda of FLG activities and anti-China government. Clearly, one can tell straight away they are not written by the Chinese, those pics even looked suspicious and they seemed deliberately positioned for the camera.

If FLG membership is free, Epoch Times is free, a mad woman's access into the lawn of White House is free, who backs and finance these nuts of nuisance? Kanyuek, I do agree with you.

It looks like this US plot has revealed a lot more in this incident than it intended to.

forget about that lunatic

It is great for President Hu to be gracious by smiling away the "regret" which president Bush said to him, after the FLG lunatic heckled the White House welcome ceremony.  And, I think the majority of Chinese people will not condemn the White House for a mistake that is not intentional. Everybody makes mistakes.

Browsing the Chinese online chatrooms, there are tens of thousands of praisings towards President Hu and Premier Wen, and the leadship they head, and positve feelings towards the amrican people. so, it really doesn't matter what happened at the White House. China remains that China, which is growing prosperous each passing day and night.

Do we lose anything because of the lunatic?  no.

"Do we lose anything because of the lunatic?  no."

That's right.
China lose nothing, but US, yes. China has gained more than it expected, but US has lost more than it planned to. It has reaffirmed the US's ugliness.
On the whole, it was a good show for President Hu, that he'd shown us a lot more graciousness than we knew of him.
