How about "旅游餐馆"?
It provides cuisine or other features famous enough to be the reason for a visit by tourists to the locale to experience it.

我想这种餐馆的对象并非以游客为主，而是以它的名气，足以吸引远近顾客前来光顾。称之为 destinational，就是说顾客不为别的，就以它为目的地，专程冲着它而来。
文中说的那个正在发展的地区，第一阶段先建起这样一家餐馆和另一些设施，用意显然是借着它们招徕顾客，好带动整个区渐渐繁盛起来。

“招牌餐馆”看来可以
听说是珠海的招牌餐馆之一,餐馆里面的装修虽不算特别豪华,但给人清新明亮、格调高雅的感觉。海鲜不错,菜也做得入味。
台湾招牌餐馆鼎泰丰，天津开内地旗舰店 -- 被评为“世界十大美食餐厅”的台湾鼎泰丰集团经过三个月的筹备，将于12月1日在天津开业。

another thought
the destination 是对游客来说（对外）
the place主要认为是县里人最常去的地方（对内）好像还可以翻译为"县里第一(餐馆)"

“招牌”含义似乎不一样，指有拿手好菜等能吸引食客的餐厅，可以位处闹市。
现在旅行社有好多“美食团”，就是专门去吃东西的。广东话叫“为食”（“馋”之意）。
可以想象专门开车去吃，味道肯定不错，可以叫“美食餐馆”，但“美食”容易被认为是广告词。
如果在中国，这种东西早就被命名为“自驾车美食餐厅”之类的了。

客饭餐厅。从Prix fixe看，是指一种固定价格，可以选菜的餐馆，类似中国的快餐形式。
prix fixe：A complete meal of several courses, sometimes with choices permitted, offered by a restaurant at a fixed price.

No, definitely not “类似中国的快餐形式”。可以选菜，不是说从整个菜单随便挑，而是整顿饭有三到七道（或更多，salad, soup, appetizer, entree, dessert, etc.），每一道有几种选择而已。
