中国人如何去寻迹诺贝尔奖的曙光

http://shanshibing.blog.sohu.com/66894207.html
Where is the road leading Chinese to Nobel Prizes.

Nobel Prizes, which has been set up for over one hundred year, attracts the eyes of people all over the world each time when it is announced. Over the last two days, the 2007 Nobel Prize winners light the sky of Sweden.

Among this year's Nobel Prizes, the German scientists took away the Chemistry Prize, French and German scientists the Physics Prize, and Physiology or Medicine Prize was awarded to American and British scientists. Except for awards in the natural sciences, the Nobel Prize for literature attracted much more attention. This year, British writer Doris Lessing won the award.

As for Chinese people, the centuried Nobel Prize (NP) always goes to other nations, and has no chance to China. Every time when NP is announced, the reflection of NP causes sensational waves range from scientific community to literature circle. It is gratified that the reflection has not stopped at criticizing the "selection rules". No doubt, only bid farewell to the psyche of ‘the grapes are sour’, can intellectual thought arise.

Yes, Chinese people need NP, extremely need it. Being a great nation, China should play a part on the stage for NP and generate a man/woman who has ‘made the greatest contributions to humankind’ as written on Nobel’s will a hundred years ago. NP can be taken as a symbol or a voice to the whole world, and China has no reason to be absent for long. NP in itself is a testimony showing whether a nation has got any breakthroughts in the relevant fields or made any fundamental contributions. Nobody has a reason to face NP negatively

In fact, centuried NP are milestones in science and culture history, and we can sense clearly its effects on development in world economy, social and culture. This lies in its originality. Reflecting that China has got no NP, we should go to check where the trouble is, which prevents us from being creative. Does our system impede innovation? Or the system lacks momentum to motivate creation?

In other words, if only we meet the universal top standard in originality, can we stand a chance to get a NP, freeing Chinese nationals from the NP complex.

Why we are short of motivation in originality, the reason is not difficult to find. For example, our much-criticized exam-oriented education system, which ‘place too much emphasis on teaching, less emphasis on learning; infuse too much and give less enlightening; replicate more and create less’, is evidently not conducive to cultivate innovation and creativity. However, under the existing education system, ratio of students entering higher school is linked to education evaluation, thus exam-oriented education dominates and make quality education an unrealistic promise. Our universities are still unable to assume the role of being a masters’ incubator, because of its administrative system has reduce the driving force of scientific research

Of course there are other problems behind this issue. Insufficient input on scientific research is one, and each science research institution works in isolation atmosphere, being incapable of forming a strong R&D system like western counterparts do. All these factors curb the development and expansion in china’s scientific research. This has also caused the research environment too rigor to tolerate failures in experiments, making elating spirits for scientific exploration impossible. These long-standing problems not only haunt the research on natural science, but also influence the literae humaniores. Chinese Writer's Association recently absorbed a "Plagiarism writer" Jingming Guo, this event created a great sensation, exposing the bureaucracy of the association and the writer’s profit-driven, despicable nature. In fact, literary publications organized by all levels’ associations have been monopolized by authorities, and seniority is often   made priority, adding the lacking openness, they become the ‘private plot’ for some hegemonies. In this way, how the innovative idea can penetrate Chinese literature?  Without innovation, naturally no valuable works will come out.

It is exactly for no innovative momentum in both science and literae humaniores, China is unable to establish standards for originality in the context of globalization. Therefore, it is understandable for us that China goes by NP again and again. We indeed have a long distance to NP. If the problems were not dispelled in time, we would not be able to narrow the gap between China and the west in culture, education and scientific research. Instead the gap may get wider and wider. In this way, we are not allowed a chance to pave the way to NP, and NP will remain as an ‘eternal pain’ in the hearts of the Chinese people.

Nobel Prize belongs to the world, its inventiveness and concerns on human spirit highlight everywhere and everybody can not ignore it. An opening China is moving into the world to realize its dream of becoming a major power. China needs NP, and the world also expects Chinese to light the sky of Sweden with its glorious achievements in science and literary. However, there is not a bright beacon to illuminate the surrounding darkness, to ensure the NP runners a save and unblocked road yet.

Lighting such a beacon is the first step for China to see the aurora of Nobel Prize.

well, as a main power nation,Maybe China need the NP.
but in my opinion,I don't think the NP is so important to China.the most important thing Chinese government need to do to become the most powerful county in world, especially economy,"no cash, shut up",I think this is the most important rule in this world.sometimes the nation is similar to the human, the most important and first thing you need to do is exist.you are  unnecessary to talk about other things if your existence are in danger.the Chinese nation is one of the most longest nation in world, but the CCP is a young party.the CCP take a few years to understand that develop economy and improve public living condition is the most imporantant thing.and yes, the CCP  dose.
Maybe you will say that what I had said is nothing to to with NP.I say, yes.
what the CCP nees decide what kind of educate system.he need some professional to develop new  arms to defend nation.and he make his mind to develop economy.so he doesn't have enough energy to develop literary(Mayge you will say that Chinese can also get a NP of  physical and so on.do you see a poor country with a outstanding invention?NO CASH!).
just live youself, everyone has his own lifestyle.China should open up and to  become one part of world, but not everything.
