no matter it is movies or dramas,if the contents is a move story,i will like it.beacause movies and dramas is only the form.the art idea is the most important.
as you said,you don't like the Chinese modern drama,i don't like it too.the chinese modern dramas almost are rubish,most of them service for politics and with no humansitic,so i hate Chinese dramas.

Hi,all, frankly speaking ,in my personal views, I feel very boring when i watched the dramas,i think this may be base on people's personality,some people like watch the dramas, this type of people may be introverted. but some out-going people may be dislike to watch dramas,because of the drama's atmosphere is very calm,oldest,not full of happies, so the comedy may be more suitable for this people.

anyway ,this is my own views,not representing others.

until now i have never watched a drama.and i have never think about watching it.
i love movies very much recently.one or two movies a day.
especially johnny depp'works and ethan hawke's.
and i want to rencommend 《before sunrise》and <gattaca>

I prefer movies.Because I feel that movies are more real,and they are just our real daily life.Ihave watched many movies,including foreign movies.On the contrary,dramas are very artificial,especially actors' action when they are sad or happy.

Movies, of course.
Movies seem to be more familiar to me.
And actually I haven't so many chances to enjoy dramas.

my uncle was the Drama professor at a Private University in America, and I used to go and see all of his productions..

i really love the stage acting and sound effects and all the work that goes into the entire production, and you can feel it all in the air, and read everything from the actors and actresses

there isnt much better

speaking of which, I have been looking for a movie that came out a few years ago, i saw it once but i cant remember the name.

its a movie about Live Radio shows, the Radio Dramas they used to play before TV came out, the entire movie is all on the Radio Set, and its really phenomenal,

if anyone can tell me the name of that movie, i would greatly appreciate it.

i have never seen drama before . and i am not interested in it. i like movies,bur i seldom see it in a cinema because it cost me too much. in general,i see a movie online.

at first,i prefer to movies,especially the hollywood movies. later,after seeing some drama,i feel drama also very atractive.
but the tickets of drama are more expersive than moves's.

I like going to the movies, but only if the movies being shown are romantic comedies, musicals or cartoons. I go for the entertainment value, so that I can forget for about an hour and a half whatever's been troubling my mind. Same goes for the theater, although the tickets are pricier, and you can't bring food in. I miss the theater...

I prefer to drama

Actually, i love both movie and drama. but I have to choose between them , I prefer to  the drama. I like the
costume actors or actresses wear,the dress-up they put on their faces , the way what they move ,
especially the tune they sing, and all of those let me crazy.
Unfortunately, I have few opptunities to watch the dramas. I can recall many dramas which I wacthed in my childhood. At that times(maybe about  in 1980s), there are a lot dramas performanced in my village and sometimes  I was able to watch dramas for 3 days or a week . In fact, the actors or actresses were all  amateur  from different villages,no moderm stage technology, no modern light technology. Howerver, it can attract  a lot of people to watch.
Now I am a citizen changed from farmer. Most of things  are better than those that times, however, I have few chance to appreciate our nation treasure. It is very pity for us,for our young generations.

movie is best

Movie is second noting . I like movie very much . in the night ,i used to watch a lastest movie in the cinema. this felling is so perfect ! I enjoy it !
