Nothing but guesswork? What is your opinion about their innocence? Any available proof??
You're very narrow minded and biased.
Is that how you want the guilty to be identified? Someone accuses, and that's "proof" for people of your ilk?
Why were they not grilled about their real intentions? For you anyone who causes problems for China is a "f r e e d o m fighter" even if such a person is a criminal, right? People of your ilk cannot differentiate between right and wrong. Their tainted glasses only permit them a limited view.
So long as China acts so high-handedly it will gain no repsect and trust internationally.
High handedly? Do you imply that countries which serve their national interests lose trust and respect? I believe I do not have to remind you where else exactly such interests are protected.
My advice: Think first, react later in order to prevent self embarrassment.

TV,
Thanks for a civil reply but it doesn't answer the question what these U. i's did in Afghanistan. This country was and is no tourist destination and I firmly believe that they were there to undergo guerilla training for later terrorist attacks inside China.

... if my hazy memory serves - the claim was they were nabbed in Pakistan, not Afganistan.

Another, not less important reason was the danger of recieving the death peanlty in China.
But the DOGMASTERS murdered their own 'separatist' which is an instant death penalty !
Where is that 'a fair investigation and trial' that the dogmasters are lecturing China ?

Will China never ever learn where and on whom to place her trust? When will China ever willing to wake herself up from her own self induced stuporous state?

They were arrested in Afghanistan, not Pakistan. At the time of their arrest the U.S. army officially did not operate in Pakistan.

Now we can see the "trustworthiness" of a German (Western) "expert" in foreign affairs...
Confusing a "country" with a minority called the "Communist Party of China" is no mean mistake: It's a major mistake but it could be one our German "expert" made in his erroneous assumption that everybody else would fall for his facile support for the official Chinese line.
I suggest the Chinese authorities are busy enough catching their very own Party crooks - those that line their pockets at public expense. The authorities can never clean up their own Augean stable, so why should they prosecute innocent emigrants that were found in a neighbouring country under admittedly suspicious circumstances? If the U.S. couldn't stick their accusations on these men, then how could the evenless professional Chinese cops and judges do it? .

... given the issues that popped up with some of the folks that were sent to Guantamo Bay - the question of "chain of custody" was put into play for
all
of the folks there - regardless of what the Army offically was able to prove in individual cases.

They've probably been admitted to higher education facilities in Afghanistan or Pakistan also known as madrassas.

However hard you try you don't gain face by constantly repeating the same verbiage.
Just imagine a country as important as China ruled by the Dalai clique or other religious fanatics. This would be a catastrophy. But I can comfort you, it wont happen in your lifetime.

India is involved in the militancy in South Waziristan and the government has found concrete proof of this fact, said the Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira and General Athar Abbas, Director Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Monday, November 2, 2009. Kaira says Pakistan will take the issue to discuss with New Delhi while aiming at peaceful resolution of conflicts between the two nations.
According to General Abbas, large amounts of Indian-made weapons, medical equipment, and medicines have been recovered from Sherawangi in South Waziristan where a military operation against militants is underway. An official file containing the details of proofs of Indian involvement in the said are will be sent soon to Indian officials in New Delhi.
As the operation continues, the security forces have gained control of a number of Taliban strongholds including Kaniguram, the key hideout of Uzbek militants involved in terrorist violence in Pakistan. According to General Abbas, terrorists are being beaten on all fronts.

China will wake herself up only when her next giant is willing to step up to the plate, which is needed badly.

The "next giant to step up to the plate" is Russia and by then hopefully China will be awaken to give Russia the full support she needs. China can only become an economy power house and not a superpower.

What I meant in this case is China's next giant like Deng that is willing to take giant radical step to
eliminate
China's great great grand children
future internal threat.
And thereby eliminate the kind of those scums, like those that are being sent to Island Paradise Bahamas and Palau, any space of their existence in China.
