We still have a long way to go
Although we have made great achievements in all respects, but there is a even larger distance between the country side and the big cities, many rural areas are still very poor and many migrant works are living blow poverty line.

While I really dislike American fast food, how can you be so sure that obesity and heart disease rates are rising only because of American garbage. As economies develop, people tend to eat more 'luxury' products and also tend to eat more. Then there is a choice of lifestyle....alcohol, less exercise, etc.
Why only focus on foreign fast food?

The faster the world progress, the early the world will de destroied.
The beginning is the end,the end is the beginning.
We can make its coming later, but we can not pevent its happening.

30 years changes and open up
the most obviously change is many luxurious stuff could be afford by ordinary people, like cell phone, car, house.all those things were extravagant hopes ever for the common people ,but now following the 30 year changes and open up, most of bottom people have became rich, some of their hopes began to come true one by one.

Get marriage on 9th Sep. 1999!
In the whole 20th century, was there any other day more fitting for marriage than this day? Absolutely not! (The number 9, pronounce jiu, is also a homonym for the word "everlasting." To the Chinese, it signifies love, and long life.) If you were in China on that day, I believe you'll never forget the grand view of brides and bridegrooms everywhere.

Sep 11, 2001, terrorists attacked America at the World Trade Center Towers in New York City and The Pentagon in Washington. Website in China reported this event after 8 minutes; just 3 minutes after John George Bush heard about it. This was the landmark for China News Media. The power of the internet had emerged.
