"Rush out of Asia to the World" was an inspiring slogan raised in the Chinese sport circle. When the ubiquitous square dance is described, nothing else will do better than it. Night and day across China, one can see dozens or even hundreds of people, most of whom are senior women, lose themselves in a fury of dance in almost any open space with the music being loud enough to blow out a eardrum.

Square dance has developed into a cultural phenomenon, for these Chinese dancing grannies can be seen not only in China, but also in other parts of the world. Check out the places which were once "occupied" by Chinese dancing grannies.
