Don't apologise, your English is better than my Chinese.

It means the bill is divided equally and exactly. Imagine three friends have dinner together. I will call them A, B and C. A has an expensive steak, B has average costing lamb while C just eats pasta. If each paid individually, A's meal should cost £45, B's £40 while C's would pay £35. Paying together, the total bill of £120 would be shared equally and each friend would pay £40.
